A quiet and secluded retreat, right on the beach! The cold spa was refreshing and cooling after a day in the sun and we enjoyed hiring a motorbike and driving to the local village and around the sites. Beautiful Thai hospitality and would be great with a family. The hotel is islamic so no alcohol in common areas.

If Pear had good communication and service before, she sure doesn't now. 4 emails to her between my wife and I went ignored after we checked in. For example, I emailed her asking where the nearest grocery store is, and if she had any recommendations on restaurants. Radio silence. Once she got our money we never heard from her again. About the room: It is nice, but it is in the middle of no where. A ten minute ride by car to the nearest 7-11. Easily a 40 minute or 800 baht cab ride to Patong beach, the center of nightlife. Keep this in mind, because you'll be spending a good deal of money on cabs getting from the boonies to a place with lights. The hot tub on the deck had dirty water and is really a "cold tub" which was fine with me because it is unbearably hot in Phuket. The beach is polluted, plagued with all manner of glass bottles, cups, cigarette butts, and other debris that washes ashore and doesn't appear to be cleaned by anyone. There is a nice beach bar to the right a block down the beach that I recommend that has good food and an awesome staff. The view is spectacular from the deck. If you are an older couple or newlyweds, this may be a good choice if you can swing the cab fare to and from town. To me, it wasn't the cab fare, it was the time it took to get anywhere from this location. Another turn off was the "No alcohol" rule. Once we got to the hotel we found out why. THIS IS A HALAL HOTEL, and there is a sign stating this much in the lobby! She failed to mention that in the ad. A man can't have a drink on his deck and watch the sunset, but negotiating gang bangs with trannies up the road is perfectly acceptable. The last thing I want to do when I vacation is have someone else's silly religion shoved down my throat. This place has potential but they'll have to step their game up, and maybe look for a new rental agent that can answer emails and offer better customer service.

We had an awesome stay at Davina Beach Resort. The room was beautiful and spacious and the view spectacular. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. It's in a more remote part of Phuket, which we enjoyed because it was quiet and peaceful, but I would recommend hiring a scooter or car to get around. Transport in Thail1013, Mae Wang, Chiang Mai 50360and can be pretty expensive. The only issue we had, which is not a reflection on the resort, is that the beaches are pretty dirty. The beach by the resort is also not a swimming beach.

This place was charming with a great view. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of hot spots in Phuket and far enough to get away from it all. Pear was on point with helping us and hooked us up with airport transportation which was a must for our red eye flight. The town had everything you need from local restaurants, tourist agencies and other beach side properties that allowed us to switch things up a bit. The beach is not really a swimming beach but you're only 20-35 minutes away from Kata, Karon & the infamous Patong. Would recommend a motorbike for local areas but cab it to Patong. Super family friendly, also great for couples or small groups. Also boats are so easy to come by you can find a local captain to take you anywhere. Pool was also the perfect temperature.

We stayed at Davina Beach Homes for 4 days at the end of our 2-week Thailand-Cambodia trip. We were looking for a quite place to relax, enjoy the sun and the landscape. This is exactly the place gor that. Although right now there are some constructions in the neighbourhood that can be a bit noisy, but Pear gave us an upgrade to their best, pool side apartment so we could have more peace around us. The staff was really friendly and helpful, got all the help we needed. Loved the apartment, the pool and the nearby beach bar is also very highly recommended. As it is low season we were only two of us in the apartment complex, still great communication and service. Recommend the place if you are looking for a nice, calm holiday. The beach is not the most spectacular, but really nice view and sunset! Looking forward to be back.

Nice quite location, should have a rent car if you want to have good access to the island. Great balcony and beautiful beach view and access. The Host was very accommodating when I missed my flight as he moved my arrangements back a day at no charge. Room and dishes cleaned daily. If you want a quiet and clean place with a good view in paradise off the beaten track then this is a good candidate.
