Amazing location! 10-15 minutes drive to Perth Airports, 10 minutes to CBD, 7 minutes to Crown Casino. 5 minutes to local restaurants and on the doorstep to the Swan river, children's playgrounds, walking/bike paths.

The space
This is a modern, private access apartment in a small, quiet complex set as close to the river as possible. Our high position means an absolutely unobstructed vantage point of the stunning views.

We are 3 mins walking distance to a corner deli and liquor shop, and a short 2 minute drive to supermarkets (Maylands Coles and IGA) as well as other surrounding specialty stores like a newsagent, pharmacy, bakery and many more.

There are trendy cafes and restaurants abounds in nearby Maylands' Eighth Ave and Whatley Cres precinct (please refer to our in-home folder containing menus for our favourites!).

The home is best suited for families or groups of up to 4 adults, couples or solo travellers. However, please feel free to inquire if you have more in your party as we can supply a fold-out bed if required.

We welcome families with kids of all ages and would love to help with many of the necessities of travelling with small children. We can supply a port-a-cot, high chair, baby rocker, stimulation mat, baby bath, some children's books and a selection of toys - please just ask when you book!

Bedroom 1 (main bedroom) has a large luxurious King sized bed.

For Bedroom 2, we can arrange beds into the following combinations:
2 x king singles (the default arrangement) OR 1 x King bed.
If not specified, the room will be prepared with 2 x king singles. You are welcome to let us know your preference upon booking.

Guest access
As our guest you will have access to the entire property, a lovely rear patio with outdoor table and two chairs to witness the spectacular river and city views, as well as a small, private-use front courtyard.

Our front door is keyless and accessed with a unique pincode system which is supplied to you by the morning of your check in (before midday). This means you are free to arrive at any time convenient to you after the allotted check in time. And no need to worry about picking up/carrying/dropping off keys!

Other things to note
The rear patio (with the views!) is separated from a steep wall down to the walk/cycle path and river, with a sturdy safety rail and thick foliage. However, if you have small children (because they are so clever!) please be careful to supervise at all times when outside.

Please note the home is accessed via 12 outdoor steps (with safety/hand rail). We, therefore, recommend that all guests are confidently able to manage steps before booking.

Kirkham Hill Terrace in Maylands is a clean and elegant street in a trendy suburb in the metro area of Perth. It is convenient, safe and quiet (unless there are fireworks, in which case you will have a front row view, from the home, as they erupt over the river!)

Maylands itself is a little urban gem with many restaurants and bars/cafes. Whether you feel like Thai, Japanese, Italian or a kebab! It's all there and more.

There's also fantastic boutique shopping to explore on Eighth Avenue and Whatley Crescent. If you are into antiques, Guildford is a 7 minute drive and features an entire street of antique shops.
