Lauren’s condo is neat, clean and orderly. All I required was a bed, bathroom, and minimal use of the kitchen – the condo was perfect for that. It is very accessible to downtown Aspen, which is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are nice paved walking/biking paths to use. It’s great to not have to worry about parking a car downtown! My I-phone was essential, as Lauren’s and my schedules didn’t mesh, and all our communication was completely by text – I never met her face-to-face. (I had trouble with my I-phone in Aspen, and many of my received messages were delayed, which was problematic for me – maybe it was the fault of my internet provider.) The only drawback to this condo is that it was noisy outside at night, and I had trouble falling asleep – I was there on Friday and Saturday night. However, inside the condo, it was quiet as a mouse. I had no idea if anyone else was there. I tried to be quiet, too.
Lauren’s condo complex has a unique address system, and I was clueless as to how to find my specific condo. There are several condo buildings in the complex, and there were no visible explanatory signs. I had to ask people in the parking lot for directions.
