For those who love to be near water the Mutchmor Lofts fit the bill. You are only moments from the beach and boardwalk. The cafe offers morning coffee and delicious homemade baking ie scones, muffins etc. Bridget and Matthew are gracious hosts and available to fulfill any needs. The accommodations are spacious, comfortable and immaculate. I would recommend this lovely airb&b to one and all.

Matthew and Bridget were wonderful hosts. They were very communicative throughout the booking process and our stay. The apartment was even more spacious than it appears in the photos, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully furnished. You can really tell they put a lot of love into it.

The loft was spacious, clean, quiet and had everything my kids and I needed for our 3 days in Providence Bay. Just steps from the beach and with a trendy cafe downstairs, we couldn't ask for a nicer, more comfortable and relaxing spot for our little vacation.

These lofts (3) are new and created within the facade of the old hardware store in Providence Bay, they are modern, comfortable, spacious, clean and well decorated. There is approx 700+ sq ft of space per loft to provide for bedroom area (partially separated), kitchen and bathroom. Ceilings are approx 10 ft high. Everything is new except for the refinished, original wood plank flooring. The lofts are so new that while we were there they were still putting the final finishing touches to the entry porch and the doors were awaiting a finish coat of paint. King size bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. Kitchen was well equipped except for a kettle to boil water for tea etc. This was immediately corrected when we pointed out this oversight. There is a large fridge and stove (they are awaiting the range hoods). Bathroom was large with a great shower in the bath/shower enclosure. Towels were very fluffy and large to match any first class hotel. Room includes a quiet ductless air-conditioner/heater unit, excellent Wi-Fi and satellite TV. While there we had coffee and sandwiches in the Peace Café below and browsed the specialty shop and gallery they have created out of this old renovated hardware store. This place is minutes from the beach and you can dine on great fish and chips at Lake Huron Fish and Chips (same owner), which is also only minutes away, or dine at the highly reviewed School House Restaurant in the village I would not hesitate to recommend the The Mutchmor Lofts to friends and family and hope to go again soon.

I own a restaurant and The Mutchmor Lofts in beautiful Providence Bay on Manitoulin Island. I spend the winter months with my family in Toronto. I grew up on a farm in Ontario and then lived in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver before settling down on Manitoulin Island. I love to travel and most recently backpacked across Central America.

I enjoy attending film festivals and going to live concerts and shows. I play all sorts of sports and mostly love being with my friends and family.
