My place is open for everyone. I include to reservation the watercolor sketch of the old city, which I made myself. I tried to make my place full of old city spirit. There are some existing buildings on my oil and watercolor paintings, which are part of cultural heritage. Art and old Tbilisi are meeting places, so they must stand together:))
My place is situated at Puri Square. პური (Puri) means bread in Georgian. The apartment is located in traditional yard called “ezo”, which is typical for Tbilisi. It is a meeting place, a synthesis of cultures. Various traditions and cultures co-exist in “ezo”. Apartment on the first floor, entrance from the yard. The entire building, where apartment belongs has status of Culture Monument. Location is in the center of the old town, most attractive place.
The center of old town is a unique place, with different religions and cultures put together.
The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the hilltop ancient Zoroastrian temple, Botanical Garden (15 minutes), Freedom Square (7 minutes), cafes and restaurants (2 min)
You can drink cup of coffee in the yard "ezo" .
Interaction with guests
I'll be available to offer my help through your stay. I live nearby, 5 minutes walk, so it will be easy to communicate in non working hours.
There are my neighbors in the yard. Some evenings they like to sit together and talk with guests. They are very open and communicative.
I am an artist. My wish is to offer experience to my guests - draw together sketches of Old City buildings and some other places.
In 90-es I lived and worked at Santorini island Greece as hotel receptionist. I enjoyed my work: I’ve met a lot of people. They kept in touch wrote letters. Hotel work gave me happiness. Until now I’m full of positive memories. At reception I had easel and I kept painting.
I enjoy meeting new people, it is great experience.
Now I have this chance in my country, in Tbilisi, - I knew this moment would come.
Now I work also on Doctorate degree in Culture Studies. I enjoy writing.
I do yoga and Chi-gong in the morning. For meditations I go at Botanical garden Tbilisi up to hill in the neighborhood.
I like non-commercial movies.
I support reforms in Georgia.
