Our main bedroom has two beds [Q & twin], en-suite bathroom, plenty of natural light, & accessible level entrance.
Do you want 2 private bedrooms/2 bathrooms for $90 per night? If you want both, LIST FOUR GUESTS (even if there are 2, 3, or 5 of you). Then tell us actual number of travelers in your message. That way the per night billing will charge appropriately.
Details below.

~ All are welcome! ~

The space

We have a two level house, and we live upstairs. The spacious bedrooms have plenty of natural light and are easily accessible with level entrance, level parking, and a comfortable outside seating area. The main room has a completely private en-suite bathroom with soaking tub/shower. You are close to Appalachian State and all Boone and Blowing Rock activities. Minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway.
**+**
The guest level stays cool in the summer and no air conditioning is needed. In fact, most people sleep with a blanket even in summer! Windows have screens, and your room has a fan. You will have ample closet space. There are heat controls in each room, available for you to set once the weather turns cooler.
**+**
If needed for your group, our 2nd bedroom has a double bed, and a second bathroom with a large step in shower is just across the hall.
**+**
We rent one room for $75, or two rooms for $90 per night. If you want to use the second bedroom and bath just state 4 guests (even if there are two, three, or five of you), and tell us how many actual travelers in your message. That way the billing will charge appropriately [the system will actually say per person, but we are not charging per extra traveler... just charging a small amount for the 2nd bedroom and 2nd bathroom!]
**+**
Note: You are the only one that can book the 2nd bedroom. It is not rented to another party.

**+** Please email if you have ANY questions].

Guest access

Your room has a microwave and coffee maker, and a full size refrigerator is available just down the hall. You will also have private use of an outdoor seating area. If needed, you are welcome to use the washer and dryer located near your room.

There is a second bath with a step in shower in the hall across from the second bedroom. Your group has private usage of this bath.

Interaction with guests

We have informally hosted many guests through our work, and enjoy interacting with visitors from all over the world. We are happy to offer suggestions for outdoor activities, restaurants, and other local information. We are easily available by text, phone, or in person if you need anything, but you will have all the privacy that you want to have.

Other things to note

Our internet is very dependable, and we have good cell coverage. There are hills as you drive into the neighborhood, but our parking and entrance is very flat.

Great hosts and location! We felt secluded, but the location is so close we were near everything in Boone.

Very well located near Main Street. Very welcoming hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Loved the bonfire and smores set up our last night. 5 stars are not enough to rate them, will definitely stay there again and highly recommend them!

Our stay at Teri and Carlton's house was short (just one night) but very sweet. I was particularly thrilled to find my two favorite hot beverages available, Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice tea and Starbucks instant French Roast Decafe coffe - and creamers! What are the odds? The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, much nicer than a standard hotel room. I can highly recommend a stay here!

Response from Teri:
Having your favorite drinks available is delightfully funny, as the drink choices rotate a bit. What ARE the odds :)

Our bustling little town is a favorite NC mountain destination for many different reasons. We love it too, and are grateful to live here these last 30+ years.

We love the local music and restaurants, woods walks and river paddles, reclaiming and reusing other people's junk, a good movie or a book sitting by the fire, and bird watching.

We have slept in a tent for hundreds of nights over the years; now we usually prefer a good firm bed. But we do want that bed to have easy access to the outdoors, as being outdoors is what makes our hearts sing.
