Quilters Cottage is such a homely place to stay. Full of charm with beautiful quilt work in every room. It was immaculately clean and with all mod cons. Decor is simple yet tasteful - just the way we like it! The cottage is set back away from the main port and town, but it's a steady walk down. The pub opposite has a restaurant with a good varied menu. We explored as far up as Holy Island and everything in between in the five days spent here. Longest journey was to Holy Island which took about 45 mins along a scenic route. Amble really is the friendliest port - everywhere we went the locals were so chatty and happy to go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Fantastic trip! Northumberland is truly stunning!

Quilters Cottage was perfect for our stay in Amble. Warm, comfortable and spacious it is well equipped for family needs and close to town to enable us to walk to the shops and for eating out.

Really lovely, deceptively spacious cottage in a great location. Everything you need is on hand and the arga is an added bonus!

We had a great time staying here. Location is great, little walk down to the beach and harbour but very easy. Great places to eat and we would definitely return. The house is immaculate and has everything you need!

The cottage was clean and well equipped and we had a lovely few days staying in Amble. Our host Josie made us very welcome and provided clear and prompt communication prior to our stay. We would definitely recommend and stay here again, thank you!

Josies cottage is in a great location, not far from the centre of Amble, with beautiful views of Warkworth Castle and the coast. The aga takes a bit of practice and can be a bit slow to cook but there is a portable electric hob if you need it. Toasted teacakes made with the aga toast cage are incredible! We really enjoyed surfing with Northside Surf School, highly recommended for all ages (age 10 - 54 in the beginners lesson we had!). There aren't that many reviews for the cottage on air bnb but don't let that put you off, it's been rented out a lot more through a different company.
