Quirky place and kind of fun to stay there but a little overpriced.

Les' place is beyond beautiful. It's secluded, quiet, sheepish and just as described. Look forward to a wonderful stay.

The Haybarn is situated in a very remote area, the difficulty of making our way to the place is part of the charm but communication could have been improved. Apart from this negative point, everything was just wonderful and perfect for a week end out in the middle of the nature. …

Response from Les:
Hi Matthew, sorry you got lost looking for the ford in the dark. Even people who live here sometimes get lost down there when it is really dark! We used to have a bell as a guide which was very helpful in total blackout. I'm not sure even a map would help but will make one. Also working on better supply of firelighters and a map of how Monachyle Tuarach is.

Pretty rugged, the pictures make it look a little bit nicer than actually is. But it isn’t bad by any means. In a beautiful location but quite a drive to reach. Overall pretty decent value.
