Michael and Ellen's home is quaint and quiet yet central and convenient. It's ideal both as a location in the middle of Philly to explore the city, and as a relaxing getaway spot with great outdoor space. The townhouse is charming and perfectly set up to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We can't wait to book again!

We had a fantastic stay at Michael and Ellen's place. It is a beautiful home on a quaint and quiet street, was very comfortable and clean, and was conveniently located for us to explore all of the neighborhoods in and around Center City on foot. There's also a really nice outdoor patio and second floor deck that we took advantage of during our stay. We would highly recommend staying here while in Philly.

This was a great place to stay in Philly and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. There were great coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and attractions all within walking distance. Parking was the biggest worry, but the detailed tips provided on the profile helped me find street parking. The house itself was adorable, with plenty of room for a couple or a small family to stay in. I also really loved the patio, it was great for lounging, sunning and drinking wine. Truly an oasis of comfort in the city!

Our group of three had a perfect weekend in Philadelphia! We loved both patios and had plenty of space. The apartment has such historic charm and is in a quiet, cute area. Walkable to many shops, restaurants, and night life and a short cab ride to anywhere you may want to visit in Philly. Michael and Ellen were great hosts.

I am a friend of the hosts, but I think I can objectively say that this is a wonderful way to experience central Philadelphia. A 2016 article explains this type of house: a "trinity" on a "small street." [Nosowitz, Dan. “Philadelphia’s Trinity Houses Are the Original Tiny Houses.” Atlas Obscura, March 10, 2016. (URL HIDDEN) It rightly describes such houses as "small, full of history and character" and "proud and weird and beautiful." What it may not capture is how *quiet* the small streets are. Whether indoors, in the garden, or on the deck, you will not believe how close you are to major streets, since the surrounding buildings block out all the noise. The only challenge of this house is the stairs. If you can't handle steep, winding stairs, this is not the place for you. But if you can, you will enjoy a proud and weird and beautiful and uniquely Philadelphian lodging.

We stayed in the house for a nice weekend getaway. House is close enough to walk to very good restaraunts, shops, and everything philly has to offer. Michael and Ellen were super responsive, kind and did an excellent job at making us feel comfortable. House has everything you need for a nice stay, including an outdoor patio area and a 2nd floor outdoor patio. House was everything and more we needed for our awesome trip!

Location was great. Hosts were very communicative, the area has lots of food options and was perfectly located to see the city. We were able to find street parking for the nights and lot parking was $20. We recommend this place to all, but for those who may find stairs challenging, this may not be the place for you.
