Lorelei and David made us feel like part of the family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - bonfire while watching the full moon (AWESOME), loved the dogs (very well behaved), and a great breakfast !!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. Visiting from BC. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!!

Lorelei and David were very friendly and welcoming! The place was lovely and their dogs were very good company! We had everything we needed nearby! We enjoyed our short stay and would like to thank again Lorelei and David for getting up early to cook an incredible breakfast before we go! Maggy & Simon

Lorelei and David made us and our dog immediately feel welcome in their big farmhouse. Located minutes off highway 2 it is conveniently located if you are in transit as we were. We opted to have dinner which was delicious and so was breakfast. These folks love to cook! The evening passed quickly whether we were sitting chatting in the kitchen while dinner was being prepared, walking around the farm with the dogs or enjoying conversation over dinner, we were always made to feel at home. Importantly for us, so was our 4 year old Labrador retriever as she found her way into the pack of 5 dogs who live there. Thank-you Lorelei and David

Lorelei and David's home was the perfect base for exploring the St John River valley and attending a nearby wedding. They are such gracious hosts, and fun to talk to about local history, farming, potatoes etc. We felt totally welcome and at home. The five border collie mix dogs were sweet and well-behaved. The house is lovely and historic. And most importantly, breakfasts were HUGE and delicious, including homemade preserves. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a very relaxing place to stay. Lorelei and David a congenial hosts. Sipping a glass of wine in the screened verandah is a fine way to end a day of driving. I prearranged for them to feed me supper. Portions were generous, delicious and there were plenty of vegetables, homemade cake with preserves for dessert. Breakfast was fabulous, too. The bed was comfortable. This is a really cosy home - very welcoming, Maritime style. I'm glad I stayed here.

Wonderful stay. Great hosts, interesting conversations. Plus we all enjoyed being around the 5 dogs! Excellent breakfast to start the day. We needed to be on the road early in order to get to Ottawa for my son's soccer game and they were happy to accommodate an early breakfast and departure. Will definitely keep this on my list of preferred places to stay when we go back and forth between Ontario and the Maritimes.
