The apartment consists of one bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and terrace. Full equipped. The pool is very nice since although it is shared this bit crowded.

A few hundred meters away there is a bus stop that takes you to the city center where the main attractions are the Cathedral, Alcazaba, Roman Theater, Gibralfaro Castle, Museums (Picasso, Thyssen, Malaga and Center Pompidou), Plaza de la Merced, Puerto, Larios Street, etc. Further down, at sea level, there is another bus stop with two lines that also go to the center of Malaga. One of these lines (line 3) reaches the high-speed train station (AVE).

A little more than a kilometer away is Pedregalejo beach, well known for being the old fishermen's quarter, which is now full of restaurants and cocktail bars. You can take a long walk along the east coast of the city, or ride a bike or run by the sea.

At 300 meters you have supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies and banks.

Near the apartment there are the best Spanish schools for foreigners: "Malaca Institute", "Malaga Si", "Don Quijote!", Etc.

If you want to visit Andalusia this is the ideal accommodation. Malaga is in the center of the region and the apartment is located very close to the A7 motorway, which can take you in 1h 15 minutes to Granada, in 2 hours to Seville, in 1h 30 minutes to Cordoba.

Golf enthusiasts have two courses nearby: The "El Candado" Golf Club with 9 holes at ten minutes, and "Añoreta golf" with 18 holes, 15 minutes on the A7 motorway.

Definitely a place to relax and enjoy the city in a residential area.

This place is far from the center of Malaga, so if you plan on wanting to be where everything is happening I would pass on this place. You can only get to the city area of Malaga by Taxi or bus. It's also a 15 minute walk down hill to the beach, and a very steep hot walk back up to get to the apartment that can take about 20 to 25 minutes. Spain does not have Uber or Lyft so going out past 9pm can be a real issue when your only options are taxi or walking down the steep hill to get to the bus station, and if you're woman walking down hill in heels this is not a great option.

We had a great stay, but there were a couple of things that would have made our stay even better, or that other guests might like to know before booking. Some reasons to book: - The pool is fantastic - beautiful setting, big and very quiet. We were the only people using it for half of our week-long holiday. You will love it! - The terrace looks out on to the pool and nicely maintained gardens, and it's lovely to sit out there in the evening. Set up with small table and chairs so you can enjoy some tapas. - It is a five minute walk to an area with a supermarket, bars / restaurants and bakery. Lots of Spanish families enjoying themselves, but not too busy. - Easy to travel into the centre of town by bus. - Lucia was able to arrange for us to borrow a cot and a highchair for our baby, which made a huge difference to our holiday & was much appreciated. Lucia was very helpful by email in advance of our holiday. What could have been better: - We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and found this one a bit different. We have previously received very useful recommendations from the host about the local area. This time we didn't meet the host, but in the apartment there was a printed list of general recommendations in central Malaga - nothing about the area near the apartment. There are some nice places 5 minutes away, and it would have been useful to have some information about them. Generally, it felt less personal than our other trips, though everything was arranged very professionally. - We found that the kitchen wasn't very well equipped - eg no chopping board or sharp knives, and only one wine glass. Other guests might like to know... - The air conditioning cools the living room very well but doesn't really cool the bedroom (the unit is beside the front door). The evening that we arrived it was 26 degrees in the bedroom. This will be less of a problem for adults, but our baby unfortunately had a difficult night. - The walk to the beach is 10 minutes, but it's a bit longer on the way back up a steep hill.

Was a great apartment with a fab pool. A very long walk into Malaga old town as we found out. Good and relaxing and other bars and eateries with a beach not too far away

Great, well equipped apartment. Lots of space and comfortable. We had a great and relaxing stay here. I'm sure it's even better when the pool is open. The location isn't the best but that was my fault booking out of the city centre! There is a bus that runs semi regularly into the city centre and there are a few restaurants and a super market near by. Not much English though so bring your phrasebook.

Communication was great and despite our late flight and arrival after 10pm, Lucia was a gracious host and very accommodating. The flat is spacious and only 20mins drive from the airport, perfect especially if you have a car.
