The space

Knickerbocker house is the newest edition to the Outpost Club (Co)Living is located in Bushwick, next to Williamsburg. The location is near coffee shops, artisanal pizza joints, breweries, and lots of rustic-industrial bars made from renovated factory spaces.

Guest access

The house itself also reflects the neighborhood by incorporating wood into the design: wooden floors, furniture, beds, and closets, all made with wooden material to make the house feel chic and warm. This coliving space has five bedrooms, all attached to a kitchen/dining room space. Take a trip down the stairs and you’ll find a living room on your left and a coworking space on your right, both of which are massive in comparison to your average New York apartment. This space is move-in ready; all you have to do is show up with your suitcase.

Other things to note

Yes, we even have a back yard! This space has tables and chairs so can work outside in the spring, summer and autumn. This space holds many parties, get-togethers, barbeques, and celebrations.

In addition to everything above, all of your utilities (electric, gas, and water) and business grade Wi-Fi are included in your membership. Each of our new homes incorporate the newest advancements in home technology, like high bandwidth routers, NestTM security and temperature control systems, updated appliances, and energy efficient lighting. For all the furniture and beds we used only best suppliers, real wooden surfaces, durable metals, and sleek countertops. We worked with interior designers to make the place comfortable for all members in any room of the house. We’ve thought of all the little things you need to feel right at home upon arrival.

Disappointing experience for a coliving community, on several counts. All I wanted was a clean, quiet place with respectful and friendly housemates to spend time with before going back home in between my travels between Europe and South America. I got none of the above, and no apologies from the one person who made my 2 weeks here a living hell, and made me regret choosing a coliving space when I could have chosen a private apartment. Ryan, the house manager, is a self-absorbed, incompetent, and sorely lacking in maturity, composure, and emotional awareness when it comes to monitoring the conditions of the house, resolving conflicts, and listening to legitimate complaints by house member without launching into an argument with people he feels a personal offense towards. Jacob, the master house manager, was okay and handled things as smoothly as possible given the circumstances and the number of people in our house complaining about Ryan's poor management style. Unless you are just there to sleep and plan to talk to no one, avoid at all costs.

I´ve spent two months in New York living with Outpost Club. It has been a great experience. I´ve met really nice people and we´ve got lot of fun together. The house is really nice, you have everything you need and if you need help they´re always gonna be available to help you. I´ve felt at home. For sure I´ll repeat this experience.

Located between L and M trains, 15 minute walk to J train. Clean, orderly, well equipped space. Multiple bedrooms, safe, up to date appliances and setup (looks recently renovated), can't complain about anything
