Jarvis, I'll remind you that making false statements about a listing is against airbnb policy. In fact, I received a 5-star positive review from the guest staying in the bedroom next to yours during the same days.... To future guests reading this review, here is my review of Jarvis: Jarvis cancelled his booking at 5pm. I was happy to give him a full-refund (despite my strict cancellation policy) and have him move on to another booking. He had already made his new booking, and by 9pm I asked him to leave as he wasn't a registered guest anymore. I was happy to refund him and quite frankly my gf was relieved to have him go as he creeped her out by staring creepily behind her and not saying a word. Beyond that, the reason Jarvis cancelled is that I got annoyed with him for using the oven to heat the apartment! I came home to an extremely hot apartment. He had the oven door wide open and set to 450 degrees. I asked him what was going on and he said he was pre-heating the oven to make a pizza. But there was no pizza around. He was using the oven to heat the apartment (another airbnb guest verified this also). I told him that I keep the house set to 73/22 degrees but that I would turn it up a bit (I also live here in the same temperature!)..... A few hours later I get a call from airbnb - Jarvis has made inaccurate complaints about my listing (the wifi doesn't work, the laundry doesn't work, and it's cold). I use my laundy machines 5X week but guests have to ask me to use it first and pay a fee of 3.00. This is in my house rules, I let Jarvis know this verbally during a house tour, and there are 2 signs posted in the laundry room... But he ignored this rule and tried to do laundry anyway. When I asked him to pack up his things and head out at 9pm he said I was rude! (For granting his wishes of cancelling? For giving him a full refund against my policy? For not letting him use the oven as a heater? For asking him to leave when he wasn't a listed guest anymore?) In my year as a host Jarvis is indeed the worst guest I have had.
