This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!

You'll have complete access to this beautiful home, including the garage. The only access that is denied is one small bedroom closet (there's two other large bedroom closets) and one large storage room off the back of the garage.

There will be a booklet on the kitchen island about how to use any utility controls of the home as well as ideas on things to do in town.

This is a one bedroom cottage, but there is a sofa in the library and a sofa bed in the family room, each sleeps 1 person. So, this house sleeps 2 very comfortably and 4 nicely.
