Our newly updated "shotgun"-style house is in Fletcher Place, Indy's 2016 Neighborhood of the Year. You are within WALKING distance of the best the city has to offer: nationally acclaimed restaurants Milktooth and Bluebeard, the Colts' Lucas Oil and Pacers' Banker's Life stadiums, the Convention Center and the Cultural Trail. Traveling for work? You can see Eli Lilly, Anthem, Farm Bureau and Rolls Royce from the house. A $5 Uber/Lyft ride will take you to Mass Ave's bar and shopping scene.
This quiet gem is tucked away right in the middle of a bustling city! It has the quiet suburban neighborhood-feel with all the city amenities! With one master bedroom (queen bed), one guest room (no bed frame - double air mattress provided), a pull out sleeper (can sleep two adults) and a couch (one adult), this house is perfect for families traveling with children and the location lends itself to sports fans, convention-goers and those traveling for work. The bathroom has a combined tub/shower. It is a two-story house, with the two bedrooms upstairs, and the pull out sleeper and couch downstairs. There are two parking spaces on a parking pad behind the house, and your stay will also come with two street parking passes - they must be visible on the dashboard of the car if you park on Lord Street. There is unlimited parking on College Street, the street just down the block from Lord.
This house is located on a quiet street in the middle of a vibrant neighborhood. Restaurants, cafes, Lucas Oil, Banker's Life, multiple breweries, shopping options and entertainment venues are ALL within walking distance. There is a small park right outside the front door with trees and picnic space, and next to the park is Metazoa Brewery. Iaria's Italian Restaurant is a one-minute walk from the house, and is PERFECT for authentic Italian in a casual diner atmosphere.
Interaction with guests
I can be as present or as absent as needed. I work during the day in an advertising agency that's a 5 minute drive away from the house, and will be staying with family in an east-side suburb (about 20 minutes out).
- Please stay out of the basement; it's not finished and the stairway to get down there has a low overhang so I want to avoid possible injuries.
- I marked "unsuitable for pets" because I have some allergies and will be affected by it after your stay. If you really need to bring your pet, please contact me to tell me what kind of animal it is and I can approve that way.

I grew up in an Indianapolis suburb and went to college in northern Indiana. I moved to Mississippi for a while for a job, but came back to the Midwest and all the wonderful things it has to offer. I work in public relations at an advertising agency just off Monument Circle in Indianapolis and love dogs, but don't have the time to dedicate to one right now so I spend LOTS of time at the brewery across the street from my house that allows animals :) I enjoy being outside and running when I can. I used to be an avid half marathon-er (never a full marathon, though) but haven't done one in a while. I'm big on taking spin classes at the Cityway YMCA just down the street now!
