We had a lovely family getaway in Inishcrone over the August holidays. With plenty of activities nearby for the kids (swimming pool, horse riding, surfing were all hits with us) we thoroughly enjoyed the extensive beach which was about 15 mins walk from the property. The house itself was spacious and kept well and provided everything that we needed for a week's holiday. The quality of the Wifi signal was great, although our favourite memory is of the conservatory which provided so much light and a comfortable place to look out at the ever changing weather. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and I would certainly recommend this property to those who wish to explore what Inishcrone and the surrounding area has to offer.

I have to start with the one thing that isn't in the description. That's The View!! This home has marvelous sea and mountain views on one side (including from the wonderful conservatory) and bucolic farm and field views from the other. The sunsets over Kilalla Harbor and Mayo are absolutely spectacular. Moya is lovely and if you're lucky you might meet Martin and Con too. The house is spotless and fantastic. There's nothing missing at all. The bedrooms are very, very quiet primarily because the home is on a very large and private site. The living spaces are very large and furnished to a high standard. You'll live in the conservatory with it's lovely light and views. WiFi is good. Both my wife and I worked and had no issues. Our older teen children had no complaints. It's a wonderful house for young children as it's well off the road and there are lovely fields to the front and back. In all honestly, it's much nicer than the pictures! The house is an easy walk to town. Less than a mile and the entirety of the walk is along the sea. The seaweed baths (a must try) and the pier are halfway to town. The beach is really quite a bit closer than the town. Enniscrone itself is a great town. Just big enough for a variety of options for food and services. It's a central location. Ballina, Kilalla, Sligo town, the Ceide Fields, Benbulben, Downpatrick head, and Knocknarea are all less than an hour. Mullaney's cottage is a find. In a town with a lot of lettings, I have to say this one is extraordinary.
