Full of fun and quirky features with a bright and modern feel, you're sure to feel right at home. 5 mins to Limehouse station which will get you to central London in 20 minutes. Great location if you are looking to go to Shoreditch, the City or Canary Wharf. The flat is professionally cleaned and is fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay.

The space

Ever wondered what the home of an interior designer would look like? Why not make it your own for a while and enjoy staying in trendy east London, well connected to central London, the City and also Canary Wharf. Located on a quiet, gated mews street overlooking a leafy park, it’s the perfect place to grab some peace and quiet after a day’s adventures in the capital.

I’m excited to welcome you to our home which is full of personal touches to really make you feel at home! You’ll enjoy discovering the playful design features in every corner and all the quirks that make our space unique. There’s no shortage of cool coffee table books for the design obsessives like me, as well as our collection of DVDs to choose from to kick back and relax after a long day.

The open plan living area has a comfy sofa and a dining area that seats four. A high chair can also be provided upon request. If the weather’s good, why not dine al fresco in the garden? There’s a table with 6 chairs and a couple of recliners for you to relax in the sunshine.

The house is laid out over three floors giving a roomy feel and allowing everyone to spread out in the three spacious double bedrooms which all have an individual style. There is also a child’s bedroom on the top floor equipped with a cot and changing table for those of you staying with a little one. All the beds are made with luxurious white cotton linen which is professionally laundered before each guest arrives to give you the most comfortable night’s sleep - just remember to set an alarm or you will probably never want to get up!

There are two bathrooms in the house with a toilet on the ground floor, an en suite shower room on the first floor and the house bathroom on the top floor with a bath to help you unwind after a long journey or a day of exploring. There are super cosy, fluffy white towels for your use as well as complimentary shampoo and shower gel and a hairdryer for the ladies.

The kitchen has everything you will need for a comfortable stay as I like to keep tea, coffee and sugar stocked up. It has all the electrical goodies you’ll need including toaster, kettle as well as a dishwasher and washing machine for your use. But don’t sweat! All the instructions to use these things can be found in our house manual upon your arrival.

We think the house is super family friendly and would be great for those of you travelling with little ones - there is a cute child's room on the top floor of the house with toys and books and it comes equipped with a cot and changing table. We can also provide a highchair upon request.

Ideally located between trendy Limehouse Marina and up-and-coming Stepney and Whitechapel, we are minutes away from a range of cool venues, restaurants and shopping destinations including The Troxy, Gordon Ramsay's The Narrow, Westfield Stratford City (one of the largest shopping centres in Europe), Canary Wharf and Ian McKellen's pub The Grapes - an institution in the area! Shoreditch is a 25-minute walk or short bus ride away and you would be within minutes of London's famous Regent's Canal and the Thames Walk Way.

A key is provided upon arrival. You will have access to the whole house and garden.
There is also a secure area at the back of the house to store bikes.

It is a very nice house. The house is right behind a church park. We can see beautiful sight from the window in the room. The house is decorated in fashion and comfortable manner. We didn't meet with Peter, but the communication is in time. I will definitely recommend the house.

Great place. Lovely house on very peaceful street overlooking churchyard. No traffic noise at all, which is rare in a pretty central (zone 2) part of London. Especially convenient for the East - City, Tower, Whitechapel & Tate Galleries, Spitalfields & Shoreditch or Canary Wharf. Limehouse DLR & buses only 5 or so minutes away. Tube less than 15 minute walk and easy to get anywhere quite speedily from Stepney Green. We travelled by bus & DLR everywhere, except station at kings x. Lovely canal walk nearby too, which goes for miles. Three storey home and perfect for our mixed aged group - teens to late 70s. One ensuite on first floor, one king with lovely park view, and another bedroom adjacent to bathroom on top. (Do request extra keys in advance as it took 4 days for us to get a second set dropped off, as we hadn't realised there was only one set with flat.)

We stayed a week in Peters house enjoying London. We were running late and he was very accommodating in our check in process. House was clean and especially the bathrooms were excellent. We had six people staying there and all three bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. There is a fourth bedroom set up as a nursery. The house is stocked with many books which is nice for evening reading. The house block is a gated community and feels safe and clean. The first floor is roomy and has a nice patio. Kitchen was clean and equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. There is about a 0.5 mile walk to the DLR (Limehouse station) which is the closest train to London. Closest Underground station is Stepney Greene about 0.9 miles away. Closest decent grocery store is close to Limehouse station about 0.5 miles from house. Biking to London is an excellent choice from Limehouse station bike rental on the bike superhighway all the way to the center of the city, we biked with our kids and felt it was a safe and fun option. Santander rental bike stations are abundant. Area is a quiet residential area. Not much in the immediate vicinity of the house. All pubs and restaurants are minimum 0.5-1.0 miles from the house. For morning runs and walks I highly recommend the Victoria Park which is about 1.0 mile north. Walking the canals up there was really nice. Great farmers market and a much livelier scene on the weekend at the park. Limehouse basin and Victoria Park are two great spots to hang around if a trek downtown is not desired.

Such a lovely home in Eastern London and near a park, good window view and really quiet at night. I arrived a little later and Carlo waited us for a long time, really appreciated! The room is full of art atmosphere, and it is really child friendly to protect from sharp table edges. A really enjoyable journey stay in this place!
