This red wooden house invites you to stay. When staying at this cozy flat with two sleeping rooms, one living room and a kitchen you feel the breeze of Norwegian flair. It’ll take you ten minutes to reach the tram stop – to the city or up the hill.
This for Norway so typical red wooden house is situated in one of the nicest areas of Oslo, below the Holmenkolbenski-jump. The widespread Nordmarka is in 20 to 30 minutes walking distance and from there you can wander endlessly, if desired for days and days from one hut to the other. However, you need not go far, because you reach the first snugly situated mountain-lake after 20 minutes and the first top of a mountain – with a marvellous view over all of Oslo – within 30 minutes.
Whoever wants a close look at Oslo will reach downtown in 15 minutes by railway.
The flat with a large balcony is on the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kitchen-range, oven and numerous other kitchen utensils. Up to five persons can be seated at the kitchen-table.
One of the sleeping rooms, with a view to the Fjord, is equipped with a double bed. This room comprises also a sofa bed on which 1-2 persons find place. In the second sleeping room there is another cosy and modern sofa bed for two persons.
In the living-/dining room you will find a sitting-corner with sofa and two easy-chairs and a small corner with two further easy-chairs. At the big dining table five persons can easily be seated.
The bathroom is not so much up to date but functionally equipped with shower. The garden, beautiful at all seasons, can also be used.
In your capacity as guest you can use the complete flat on the 1. floor. The washing-machine is in the basement. The laundry can be dried in the attic. During the summer you will enjoy the front part of the garden.
Interaction with guests
We, the owners, are on the premises as often as possible. However, for our requirements this happens too seldom. But on the premises you meet Viviana who lives on the ground floor and can help whenever aid or advice is wanted.
Any questions you may have before starting the journey can be answered by mail or telephone.
