This cabin is perfectly decorated right on the side of a mountain. Once you find the place the first time (which may be hard at night), it is easy to find the rest of your trip. The cabin looks better than the pictures. The are is quiet and right in the woods. Our group ventured to Asheville a couple of times, and the drive was extremely easy and not too far. I wish we had more time to explore the woods and trails around the cabin, because there was definitely a lot to see and do! The only complaint I would have is that for big groups, there is only one bedroom with any privacy. This worked out for us because we are all very close, and this would be fine for a family (with the parents in the master and the kids upstairs), but perhaps wouldn't be best for a lot of couples traveling together. I would absolutely consider staying here again if I am ever back in the area.

Response from Leila:
Thanks for the great review Sydney! I appreciate the feedback. I did my best in the house description to show pictures of the areas and cabin layout so people knew how the sleeping arrangements would be. Glad you guys made it work and had a great time. Hope to have you back soon! Safe travels...

This is a very nice and comfortable place in a secluded location. Although there are neighbors, we were not aware of them because these are very sparsely populated wooded hills. There is a 3 min hike to game lands. The tap water is sweet, straight from underground spring, I guess. There are numerous springs in the woods around. It rained every day, but still we were able to have firepit fire every night. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Bathrooms was fully stocked with towels and toilet paper. The swing on the screened porch is a very special spot with beautiful view and sounds of the forest.

This cabin was much more than we expected! All the conveniences of home, clean, super comfortable beds, close to everything (tubing, fishing, downtown Saluda, hiking, etc). Leila was available for all of our questions. We enjoyed their new fire pit every night with s'mores they provided as a welcome gift. We will definitely be back again!

We fell in love with Saluda! This location was perfect as it wasn't too far from Asheville but provided the perfect quiet, scenic atmosphere we were looking for. Leila was extremely accommodating! There were smores when we got there and the house was beautiful. Tubing is about 10minutes away and many other great scenic attractions like Pisgah National Forest and Chimney Rock are nearby (about 40min). Overall we were thrilled with our stay and will certainly come back. Thanks Leila for being available to answer any questions and for providing such an amazing home!

Just got home from our fantastic trip to Saluda! Everything was amazing. Leila & David's cabin was exactly what our family needed! The cabin is settled perfectly into the mountains where my kids could run around outside and I felt they were safe and had many adventures to find.  While inside the cabin was very clean and decorated just perfectly. The kitchen was great to have to make some home cooked meals for dinner and breakfasts. We were able to store our lunch meats to pack picnics every day for our many adventures outdoors.  My husband enjoyed listening to nature on the screened in porch in the morning with his coffee.  The upstairs loft was awesome for the kids to hang out in and sleep. It was like their own personal tree fort.  After an epic day out on the Green River (5min drive) or exploring the many waterfalls or places near by it was so comforting to come back to a place that felt like home. Enjoying a movie snuggled up on the chairs or couch or playing a board game together. The kids really enjoyed having a bonfire and making smore's with the sweet supplies left for us!  The cabin was very spacious for the five of us and we would love to go back and visit. Easily fitting another couple and kids with the 2nd room in the loft. Hmmm I see a trip in our near future!  Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus as I had no laundry to do when I got home!  Thank you again for sharing your home with us and providing such a welcoming place to not just visit but truly enjoy and restore!  God Bless-The Dzama Family!

The cabin is secluded and quiet, nestled down in the lush Green River Gorge. The kitchen appliances are modern and the King bed is comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the screened-in back porch, watching fireflies at night. A small creek sound is all you hear. The cabin decor is even cuter than the pictures. It was great being so close to cool destintions, like Pearson Falls, Saluda, & Jump Off Rock, outside Hendersonville. We also took advantage of the river tubing outfitters, just a short drive away -so refreshing to be out on the river in the heat of the summer! Leila was extra courteous, helpful and responsive to questions we had. She really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we were satisfied with the cabin. Nice touch, having smores fixin's, ready to go! We will definitely be back! (Zip line next time..) Note about location: the drive down into the gorge is a bit tricky--Search "Green River Cove Road, NC" for more information.
