Close to the River Clunie the cabins are nestled behind the Auld Bank House, a stone’s throw from Braemar Mountain Sports and The Bothy coffee shop, the larch cladding complimenting the surroundings.
With comfortable beds, fresh linen and modern furniture, we think this is the perfect place to lay your head after a day exploring the Cairngorms.
Zip and link bed gives the option of double or twin layout in both bedrooms, with one bedroom having electric zip and link.
The cabin is designed to be disability-friendly with wheelchair access straight to the cabin. Inside, it is equipped with an electric stair lift, electric beds and a portable shower hoist can be provided
We are committed to making all areas as accessible as we can, with wheel chair friendly pathways and easy access from car to the cabins. A small battery operated folding scooter is also available for loan.
Interaction with guests
We have three business here in Braemar, all on the same site.
Next to the cabins is our retail store, Braemar Mountain Sports and The Bothy Coffee shop. We have a wealth of knowledge, both of the area and equipment and clothing to get you out in the fantastic scenery we have here in the Cairngorms.
If you need any help during your stay we are on hand 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week.
Other things to note
Beneath the deck adjacent to The Bothy coffee shop are several lockers for storing bikes, skis and buggies etc.
Next to this is the fire pit and BBQ area which is a communal area for all cabins to use overlooking the old mill wheel and river.
Braemar Mountain Sports Equipment Hire, next door to the cabins:
Summer hire of Men’s, Ladies and children’s Mountain Bikes. This is from April to October only.
Cross Country, Nordic and Alpine Ski Touring equipment hire including boots and poles.
We love pets here at Braemar Cabins, but having your favourite 4 legged friend along with you on holiday means there is more cleaning for us at the end of your stay. With this in mind we charge a one off pet cleaning fee of £20 per stay. We can add this to your booking once we receive it, or you can pay on arrival.

Moved here in September 2016 to help with the running of Braemar Cabins.
An easy decision, as being in the hills is by far my favourite thing.
A mad keen skier, having travelled globally to fulfill my addiction and when the snow melts you can find me somewhere on my mountain bike.
