Unfortunately we would also have to avoid having you again with us in these terms. In more than 300 bookings we never had such a situation.
SEF, Portuguese Foreign Services, set to us as obligatory to provide the guest passport info on the first 72 hours after check-in. I sent you the same email (first one is automated on the moment you did the booking) requesting that info 5 times (logged) and asked you via AirBnb and mobile to please fill the form with that info. It's not something for us, it's the Portuguese law. You refused everytime to do it, stating that nobody asks that at any country, which is clearly not true. Everywhere (legal) that you go, either AirBnb, Hotels or anywhere else, you need to provide passport information.
Still I allowed your check-in, I didn't want you to loose your booking and cause any stress to your vacation, asking you nicely to sleep over it and please fill the form with the passport information. More than 72 hours have passed and you still refused to provide that info, and only did it, after I told you I was going to the police to report the situation, to avoid having to pay huge fees to SEF for missing that obligation.
I did my very best to explain everything to you, showed you links from SEF with information, waited, tried again, waited again.
I'm glad you liked the apartment and everything else was perfect for you.
All the best,
