The Treehouse is the perfect getaway for a trip to Boston, conveniently located a few minutes away from the next T-Stop in Brookline, from there it´s 20-30 minutes to Downtown with the Green Line. The Treehouse is very well equipped for all our needs, plenty of Grocery stores and restaurants are in walking distance. Troy is a great communicator and provided all information needed and in a timely manner. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early unexpectedly and Troy was very accommodating! Definitely would recommend to anybody planning a visit in Boston!

Thank you Troy, this is our first time in Boston. We are students and we are dealing with different things these days from we've been here. My passport was stolen in Chinatown's CVS store. I was terrified at first days, it is Tree House let me soothe and calm down. Thank you Troy for leting us store our baggages for one night.

Response from Troy:
Hi Cara--We are so sorry you had such a stressful time getting acquainted with Boston, but glad that TreeHouse was a safe haven for you. Fortunately, there are many, many more good, kind people in Boston than negative ones. We are sure, with your positive personality, you will encounter mostly nice people in Boston and elsewhere. All the best wherever you go, Troy

We stayed for 3 days as we helped our daughter move into her college dorm. It is a great location, on a quaint residential street just 50 yards from major city street with groceries stores and restaurants. Off street parking is included, a definite plus for our rental car. The rooms are clean. Window AC are quiet and effective. We like the modern bathroom with tub and slick fixtures. The street is very quiet and safe. One drawback for us is that all rooms are upstairs, so it was a bit of a work to haul suitcases up. Fortunately there were two of us and we are fairly nimble. Troy the hostess was easily reachable by phone and provided us with very clear info for checking in and out. We will strongly consider renting again if we need to be in the area.

The Treehouse was an incredible place to stay for our 3 night visit in Boston. It is incredibly clean and comfortable, and Troy has thought of every possible amenity travelers may need. We were spoiled with coffee when we first arrived along with delicious blueberry muffins and fruit. The place was very quiet and close to bus and train stops for cheap transport into Boston since we didn't have a car. Loved everything about the stay and would definitely stay here again!

Staying in Brookline at the Tree House was a really satisfying experience. Our only regret was our stay seemed too short! Our host, Troy, provided all the information we needed to make check-in/check-out exceedingly smooth and easy. The Tree House was super comfortable and clean for our family of four, set up just right for our stay. Parking on the property was a huge plus, and access to the T just blocks away is a great public transport option too. There are affordable markets and restaurants all within walking distance, and we recommend visiting JFK's birthplace home nearby as well! Thank you, Troy!

It was a pleasure staying at the TreeHouse. Troy was a wonderful host. This being a trip to look at potential colleges, we were on a tight schedule and it was like returning home after a hectic day!

We are an active family and try to make positive contributions to our communities near and far. I'm Troy, a mom and longtime college professor of humanities and communication. I love my family and friends, the arts, movies, walking and hiking, and exploring the natural world and different places and cultures. I've traveled in the U.S., England, Europe, and Cuba. My daughter is amazing and has many interests, including human rights, animal welfare, horseback riding, studying Japanese, and spending time with friends. My partner raised four terrific children while living in Asia working for nonprofit relief and development agencies in the field and at the executive level. He speaks several languages, is studying new ones--and, thankfully, gave up mountain-climbing before I met him! All of us are devoted readers and writers
