I stayed with Steven for a week and it was generally positive. It was his first Airbnb booking, and was very communicative and put in a ton of effort to be helpful and make the place comfortable. Biggest thing about this place: you must love dogs, and know how to live with them: Steven lives with four fluffy collies, including one untrained, high-energy puppy that is looking to dart out of the house at the first opportunity. Unfortunately she did manage to sneak out the front door behind me one time, which upset Steven greatly. All in all, this can be a great place if you like dogs, and don't mind a bit of dog hair throughout the house, and some early-morning barking.

Response from Steven:
After viewing Peter's review I reviewed my listing and our correspondence. In my listing it is perfectly clear what the house rules are and I was very clear that there were multiple dogs in the home. Peter failed repeatedly in securing the home. I confronted Peter on this behavior and he promised to pay more attention to leaving the home unlocked overnight. He continued to leave the home unsecured. In our correspondence I made it very clear that letting the dogs run free in a city at any hour is unacceptable. He chose to allow my youngest dog run free ar bar close on a busy bar night. Additional, it is clear that no night guests are allowed. It is in my house rules clearly. He chose to disobey this rule as well. I made a mistake in allowing him into my home as his correspondence prior to his visit showed his intent to disobey the listing presented house rules. Not only did he disobey the rules, but the guest he did bring to the house at 2 am was fully indifferent to the fact that she awoke the entire house and the fact that I own the house.
