Traditional 3 bedroom Swahili house centrally located on quiet street, less than 500m from the sea. Situated in the inner cove of Msasani Bay, with easy access to Masaki and Mikocheni for shopping and restaurants. It comfortably fits 5, and boasts an outdoor patio and garden.
Please keep the gate locked at all times. We try to look after the environment as best we can. We therefor ask you to use water and electricity sparingly. The house has powerful ceiling fans which will usually keep you cool throughout the day and night. However if you choose to use the air conditioner in the double bedroom please make sure that both windows and the door is closed.
Please also note that we separate all our rubbish into 2 separate bins.
1. All food stuff, vegetable and fruit waste as well as left over food etc goes into the compost. This also includes meat.
2. Dry burnables, including cans and plastic, paper etc go into the regular rubbish bin.
Born to a danish father and english mother my parents started working with international development when I was 6 years old which took us to Africa, where I have since lived for the most part of my life.
I love the beach, good food and the tranquility of nature. My work as a singer and songwriter has given me the opportunity to travel, meet new people and learn about new cultures. I am devoted to working and developing the music scene in Tanzania and help to make it a viable means of income.
