My friend and I stayed for 4 nights at Little Eden. This is the tale of our experience. From the time we arrived at Little Eden, we were welcomed by the owner Phillp. He was a polite man who didn't hesitate to show us a bit of the town and took us a couple miles down the road from the residence. He was kind enough to stop and have us retrieve a bottle of coconut water which was made per order. He showed us some stores where we could obtain personal items such as razors, wipes and lotion if needed. Phillip also explained some of the island's history and appeared to be very proud of his heritage and home land. He also made a personal connection by sharing personal aspects of his life such as he travels to the USA and his educational background. He explained how the stove worked and showed us the refrigerator where he had left a drink and eggs inside in case we wanted to use them. He also showed us the cupboard where dishes and utensils were available for use. Phillip had towels and washcloths available for our use. Phillip explained how the keys worked and informed us of the maid that would come and change our sheets and clean the residence on day two of our stay. The maid did come and wash the needed towels, washcloths and replaced the sheets as promised. However, we had to wait a day to received the washed towels. There was a washing machine available for use (we didn't use it) and a parking spot if you decide to rent a car. Concerning location it is close to a less inhabited beach where you can get some beautiful pictures. I think Phillp said it's popular for surfing. We don't surf. Little Eden is not conveniently located near the more popular spots such as St Lawrence's Gap or Accra beach (the beach we visited several times) meaning you would have to take a cab or ride the bus to get there, however it is nestled in a quiet community. The residence was overall clean, however the shower curtain that hung in the bathroom was not. There were brown and black spots on the shower curtain liner. There was little toilet paper left so as a result we had to go to a local store in town and purchase several rolls. Also, the bed linen should be replaced as it appears old. Simple to return the keys being though the owner lives behind the residence with his wife and is easy to reach him in the event that you need him. He also left a paper with needed numbers such as emergency services as well as his contact information. I would recommend Little Eden to travelers that prefer staying in a quiet area away from everything. however make sure you purchase wipes or toilet paper and check the shower curtain to make sure it's clean or ask the maid or...

Many thanks for your positive feedback and guidance on possible areas for improvement. Some of the latter have already been attended to and we aim to continue to improve Little Eden, so that it remains a sought after destination for visitors.

Little Eden is a traditional Bajan house in the great area of Enterprise. There is air con in both bedrooms and the wifi works great. The hosts are very welcoming and professional. There are no security concerns here, as there are bars on the windows and doors. Barbados is safe, but this adds extra peace of mind. The cleaner came in twice during our three week stay and changed the sheets and cleaned the floors. It was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend Little Eden to anyone visiting Barbados who would like to stay in Oistins near Miami Beach. It was great!
