Very nice place to stay, clean, spacious, having everything you need to feel comfortable. We enjoyed the sunset on the lake and sitting around the fire on the lake shore. There are about 80 km to the Lake Superior Provincial Park with lots of amazing trails and views. Adriano was there for us with any request we had. I'll definitely recommend the place to anyone wanting to enjoy a Lake Superior vacation.

This place has a stunning view. If you're looking for a secluded getaway, this is it. In July, the water was still cool, but our kiddos were swimming from sunup to sundown, nonetheless. We built a fire one night on the shore and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Just what we needed!

I decided to rent this cottage for a few days this summer because my folks sold their lakeside cottage a year ago and we missed having some lake time. We had a wonderful time! The hosts were prompt to communicate and very friendly - genuinely warm folks. The accommodations were wonderful - clean, fully complete (except for food, which we brought), comfortable. The sunset on the first night was absolutely gorgeous and we watched it from comfortable Muskoka chairs on the front deck looking out over the water. It rained during one day of our stay, but the cottage was certainly big enough to allow some of us to sit at the huge kitchen table and play games while others watched satellite television or surfed on their laptops/phones. Three bedrooms also allowed us to have privacy for quiet naps. Without a doubt, I'll plan to make reservations for this cottage next time I'm visiting the Soo during the summer. I have no complaints whatsoever!

What a gem! This quaint cottage is steps from lake superior- we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and rises, collecting rocks, and having fires on the beach every night. The hosts were lovely, so helpful and considerate - taking care of garbage/recycling, restocking our firewood, and they were happy to answer all of our questions! The stores were a bit of a drive from the cabin(maybe 30 minutes), so bring your own food. But even if you do have to make a trip to batchwana for supplies you won't mind because the drive is so gorgeous!! And there are some great hiking trails along the way! This place was an A ++ for me and my family. We will definitely be visiting again someday:)

Thank you for the outstanding review Brittany. I am so glad you all enjoyed your stay, the scenery and had fun exploring the landscape. I was really impressed by the stone inukshuks you all made on the shoreline and never thought I would be savouring moose droppings (lol)! This and the card was a lovely gift. This is exactly the experience I wish for all guests. We look forward to your return. Thank you!!

This place is a rustic cabin experience - plenty of room, a private yard that is right on Lake Superior in a beautiful location. There is a fire pit and chairs so we watched the gorgeous sunset and then sparked up a fire to roast marshmallows. The owner is extremely responsive - always got back to us within an hour of all enquiries. They ensured we had a canoe and life jackets, helped us with firewood, very quickly showed up to replace propane for the grill when we ran out - a "5 star" owner when it came to attentiveness. The furnishings were clean, though older / "dated" - it has a real "cabin" feel. It was a great hopping off point to hiking in Lake Superior Provincial Park, which is about an hour away - the place is just shy of midway between the Sault and the national park. I would rent it again if I'm back up that way in future.

Response from Adriano:
Thanks for the great review and your comments regarding the cleanliness, location and inclusive features that the cottage offers. I do apologize that the furnishings were not up to a modern standard, I recently inherited the property and am in the process of phasing out select sentimental fixings while still ensuring that cottage feel . From a students perspective, it's a slow but steady process. I appreciate you taking time to give me your feedback from your experience.
