Come be a guest on our organic vegetable farm. We're in a peaceful location only 15 minutes from downtown Boulder. We've got lots of animals: alpacas, llamas, goats, chickens, a donkey, cats, and 2 huge dogs. Wonderful breakfast included! (Served at 9 am)

The space

We have a cozy, modest home on a beautiful property with fantastic mountain views.

The guest room is on the main floor of the house. The clean shared bathroom is right next to the guest room.

Our house is small. You are welcome to join us in our living/dining room. But other than the guest room, there is not any private space in the house to relax. Outside is a different story! We are on a 70-acre farm. There are lots of places to stroll around and relax. But keep in mind that it is a working vegetable farm. There are are lots of lovely areas on our farm. But there are also other equipment and storage areas that leave something to be desired from a visual perspective.

You will enjoy our home the most if you want to visit our animals, chat over breakfast, enjoy the mountain views, and walk around our farm. Unfortunately we do not live on a luxury estate. The guest room is clean and comfortable, but our house is not a big, romantic farm house. It is a modest home that we maintain on a farmers' income. We do our best to keep the house tidy, but you might come across muddy boots in our mud room entrance, or a chaotic kitchen that is the result of Wyatt's cooking adventures.

Breakfast is generally served around 9 am (or later if you like) and will include some fresh baked scones, muffins, or other goodies. Due to my schedule, I am not able to serve breakfast before 9 am. If our chickens are laying, I will make some fantastic eggs for you, too. Also please let us know if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate.

Guest access

You are welcome to walk around our organic vegetable farm and visit with the animals.

You are welcome to put some food in our fridge. But unfortunately we are not set up to share our whole kitchen and have guests cook meals here.

We are not a WWOF-style farm. Unfortunately we are not set up to have volunteer help or to do work trades.

Interaction with guests

Many years ago I dreamed of owning a B&B. Now I get to have one on a small scale! I am a born hostess and I love inviting people into our home and making them feel welcome.

In the summer we are working hard from sunrise to well past dark and don't have as much time to spend with visitors. However, there is so much to see on our farm during the summer and we will do our best to answer questions, etc.

We spend our winter days working inside and have time to spend with guests if they like.

Other things to note

We provide clean towels and bed linens.

We generally have check-in after 4pm and check-out before noon. But we can be flexible. Just let us know ahead of time if you'd like to come/leave earlier or later and we can almost always make it work.

DOGS: We have 2 enormous dogs! Let us know if you are not a huge dog fan and we will make sure to manage the dogs while you are here. They can be intimidating if you are not comfortable around 100+ lb dogs. Roxy is the bigger dog--weighing in at around 120 lbs. But all she wants is to have her belly scratched. Cedar is a little smaller. But she is also older and a little grumpy. We keep Cedar away from guests unless you absolutely love all kinds of dogs.

CAT ALLERGIES: Please note that we have an indoor cat. We can keep the cat out of our guest room. But our home may not be the best fit for you if you have severe cat allergies.

We had a great time seeing the farm and learning about your day to day operations. Very fun trip. We were tired from traveling and sightseeing in Denver. We appreciated the breakfast offer but we got up and out early than expected! Thanks for the comfortable accommodations!

Wow! We couldn't have imagined the incredible experience that staying at Amy and Wyatt's home turned out to be. We had so much fun that it's hard to know where to begin. Upon arrival Wyatt took us on a tour of the entire property. And since we met him just as he was about to cook dinner, we were super lucky, and he invited us to help pick ingredients fresh from the farm and to share in the meal. We dug up onions and picked sugar snap peas and fresh herbs, and they even treated us to a bottle of wine and great conversation along with his delicious farm-to-table cooking. At night we went out to explore the grounds and see the barn owls flying around in the dark under the protection of their sweet big Anatolian shepherd, Roxie. It felt like royal treatment beyond anything we thought we had signed up for. -- The room itself was clean and cozy and picturesque and everything was so much nicer than what they describe in their listing. Amy and Wyatt have been farming this land for over 12 years and they are incredibly knowledgeable and open and happy to share what they know. Breakfast was delicious -- fresh eggs from the chickens out back along with fresh baked cherry scones and delicious coffee! We will definitely go back to visit if we are ever in Boulder again. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves animals and nature and fresh food and meeting nice people.

My 11 year old son and I had such a fun-packed time! We played with and fed the goats, alpacas and donkey and soon got to know each one's personality and laughed at the dynamics between them. We got to feed the chickens and pick some strawberries. We played with the dog and cats for hours. We saw owls in the barn and frogs in the pond. Rabbits scurried the the yarrow. The owners were so nice! Wyant taught us all about running a farm. I talked to Amy about everything under the sun and I feel like I made a friend. We live in Boulder, but we are definitely going back. This is not just a B and B, it is an EXPERIENCE!

I loved my first Air B n B experience on this Organic Farm! It couldn't have been better honestly. I had the best memories from my trip in my one night at this farm :) My boyfriend and I arrived at night and were immediately welcomed and given a great tour of the large farm and given our adorable room full of accommodations :) The room was cozy and we were provided with water, tips, a map and list of great places to visit and eat! Couldn't have been more helpful :D THE BEST PART OF IT ALL WAS HANDS DOWN..BREAKFAST!! Amy got up early and made us homemade blueberry scones, eggs and espressos! We couldn't believe how incredible this home cooked meal was. It's not often you get a fresh farm to table meal while traveling. Since I am a traveling web journalist, I was able to learn a lot from Amy about farming and how to run a farm business. Her husband Wyatt taught us how farming and Community Supported Agriculture works in Boulder. My boyfriend and I witnessed a newborn baby duck have its first swim in water, took pictures with the Alpaca's and become fast friends with the Donkey:) This was the best experience ever and my only regret is that my boyfriend and I didn't just stay in Boulder another night. The town was utterly adorable with eclectic shops which was totally our scene. I would def visit Boulder again and even stay at this Air BnB again because it was so great :) One Tip: Don't walk around the farm at night unless you spray your legs with bug spray. I got hit pretty hard but that was my bad. Thanks again for the amazing hospitality. Couldn't have been better and we love all your animals. Say hi to Muffin and RP for us!

What a great place to stay! Amy made sure we were comfortable, provided everything we needed (including an amazing organic breakfast) and recommended a great place for a late dinner. Great communication with the host too (all the messages were responded to right away), which allowed us to coordinate the arrival time and check in instructions. Overall, very happy with our stay.
