The space

This cozy unit is new to the short term rental market in May 2017 and provides a perfect base with all the amenities for exploring the Canadian Rockies.

This apartment located in the downtown of Canmore within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, groceries, banks, and extensive trails.

Your stay comes with one underground heated parking space, one swimming pool, three hot tubs and a small gym.

This third floor unit has a southwest facing mountain view patio and plenty of window light. The private bedroom has a comfy king size bed with an ensuite full washroom with a bath, shower and sink with the soaps, shampoo, and conditioner for your use during your stay. Please be noted you have to go through the bedroom to get into the bathroom. In the living space is a double size comfortable sofa bed. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stove, oven, BBQ, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and freezer.

Guest access

The entire unit is for private rental and guests will have full access to building and amenities.

Interaction with guests

We'll leave you alone. Each guest will be provided with a guide of the area. What to see, what to do, where to eat - a little slice of local knowledge. But if you need us, we do our best to resolve issues as fast as we can, however if something breaks during your stay we may or may not be able to fix immediately.

Other things to note

ZONED VACATION RENTAL - This unit is in a legal vacation rental zone in Canmore. Many units and listings on the rental sites are not which can be potentially disruptive for your vacation. It is located in the heart of the downtown core away from the Trans Canada highway and away from the high density condo zone of the 1A.

Please keep the place nice and tidy upon leaving.

Noise. Sorry, quiet time is from 10PM to 7AM, this building is not one where noise and/or parties will fly. Such events will be reported to the RCMP, a fine will be given by the condo association.

Smoking. There is to be absolutely no smoking in the unit and on the patio. If there is any evidence of smoking an extra cleaning fee will be applied.

Shoes. I would ask that you please remove your footwear at the door to keep the carpet in good shape.

The apartment is part of the Lodges at Canmore complex a short walk from Canmore's downtown area. Canmore is a nice quiet town with a good selection of restaurants and bars, a good alternative to Banff. The apartment itself is a good space for a couple, with a well equipped kitchen and BBQ grill. Lots of nice touches (fresh flowers, tea/coffee, snacks) were much appreciated. Note that the apartment faces in the direction of the railway line so if you have the windows open at night you'll hear quite a few trains!

Luke is awesome and so communicative!! His place is WONDERFUL!! First off, the town of Canmore is far preferable to Banff. Adorable, relaxed town center with great restaurants. We were debating where to stay, and were so so happy we ended up in Canmore. Luke's apartment is super close to town, and close to all the fantastic hikes around Banff. It has such a cozy feel, but is still plenty spacious. Beautiful breakfast nook and patio area that we loved!! Luke left us lots of drinks and snacks and even a bottle of wine, as well as tons of info for the area :) Highly recommend!!!

This condo is fabulous! Canmore is nice, quaint town and close to Banff. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the well stocked coffee bar and the grill. We loved the incredible view of the mountain from the porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Canada! I highly recommend this condo for your visit!

Luke's place is absolutely stunning and in a lovely lodge convenient to everything in beautiful Canmore. Luke is an outstanding host who went above and beyond with providing us with directions, warning us of fire alarms, etc which was very convenient. We would stay here again if we are lucky enough to come to Canmore in the future!

Canmore is a great location when visiting the Canadian Rockies. It is not as crowded as Banff, but still has lots of great restaurants. The information left by Luke in the condo about area restaurants and activities was very helpful. The condo is nicely furnished and Luke does a nice job of staying in touch.
