This modern detached bungalow, 80 yards from the seashore with private beach access, is located in the quiet crofting community of Melvaig, near Gairloch. Graded 4 stars by Visits Scotland.

The space

Comfortable and beautifully furnished L shaped lounge / dining room with picture windows giving magnificent views over the sea and Skye, Harris and Lewis. Electric fire, two large settees, Sky Freeview satellite colour TV, DVD, radio/cassette/CD player. Payphone in the lounge.

The fully fitted modern kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, washer, tumble dryer, toaster, food mixer etc. plus a good range of cooking utensils. Rear porch with hanging space for outdoor clothes etc.

Rona has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one twin room and both have fitted wardrobes and a hairdryer is supplied.

The hall bookcase contains a good supply of books and games.

The bathroom is fully tiled and has bath and WC. plus separate walk-in shower, and shaver point.

Ramp access and wide doorways for wheelchairs. Double glazing throughout. Heating by oil fired central heating.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire property.

Interaction with guests

We are the booking agent for the owners and can be contacted at our office in Dingwall during the following hours Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00 and Saturdays 9:30 - 12:00 prior to your arrival.

Prior to your arrival we will email guests a contact number for the property owner or local housekeeper for your use should you require any assistance during your stay.

Other things to note

Wi-Fi, electricity and heating oil are included in the price. Guests are welcome to bring their own bedding and towels however they can be provided, booked and charged in advance through AirBnB at an additional cost of £30 for the double bedroom and £15 per bed for the single beds.

Dogs are welcome at £15 per dog per week (max 2), booked in advance and charged through AirBnB.
