My husband and I are both from Wisconsin born and raised so we undoubtedly are Packer fans and cheese heads. We are interested in someday venturing and experiencing traveling through Airbnb when life will allow us to. If I were only to show you pictures of what we were left with when some longer term tenants left this unit you would not have recognized this space through some of the destruction we were left with. We honestly felt a little hopeless this past year as we had finished a rehab project not too long beforehand and were not prepared for the time, energy, and finances that would need to go along with tearing down and reconstructing this unit. The difference with this particular unit is that it was beautiful before it was destroyed and that was so disheartening to see and energy draining for us but through it all we learned to trust more in our God not only for the seasons our family was experiencing personally but through the strength we were going to need to accomplish this huge task. A thank you to the guys who helped with the physical labor, Mike, Marcus and Jose and a thank you to those who prayed for us, our friends Tim and Jennifer and our small group, thank you. Thanks to nana for helping take care care of the kids and thanks to our kids who were sometimes with us working long and sometimes late hours. We love you and are honored to be your parents and know this wasn't the easiest season our family has been through. So that was quite a bit of personal but we felt appropriate to let you know that this is a labor of individuals brought together to help make this once destroyed unit into something more beautiful.
A little about us, my husband and I like to take walks with the kids, listen to KLove together, and explore different areas. We recently visited Old World Wisconsin which was so very cool. Its about an hour drive out but worth it to us and cannot wait for our next visit there. We love to eat together and both my husband and I like to cook. He loves to make his jalepeno poppers wrapped in bacon and I love to make tacos or italian salads. The girls and I love to sing at home and seems as though the family likes to dance but that is thankfully at home only too. haha.
Anyhow, we are hoping you like the stay at this unit. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about us and if we can do anything to make your stay more comfortable please do not hesitate to let us know.
