Our comfortable house has the true feeling of a country hut with all luxury. The house is surrounded with beautiful Icelandic nature, with direct access for nice hiking or romantic walk to the salmon river and the lake. Enjoy your time in our house.


The space
A highly comfortable villa, one floor. All commodities, Jacuzzi and beautiful scenery. Ideal for families or friends. The villa is located in the beautiful valley Svinadalur, offers easy access to Akranes and also all the interesting sites surrounding the western part of Iceland. Just to give an example of the numerous opportunities for excursions; the most popular being - the road skirting the beautiful shore of the Hvalfjordur, the highest waterfall in Iceland Glymur, Kjos and continuing from there to our national park Thingvellir and even taking the golden circle. The villa is built on one floor with mixture of dark wood and natural stone walls. The villa includes all modern day commodities: Four medium size bedrooms: one main bedroom with 140 cm bed, two with 140 cm beds and 80 cm beds above and the fourth bedroom has a nice sofa that can be changed into a large bed and the room is equipped with flat tv and blue ray player that makes it the perfect playroom for the kids. The villa has large living room, and fully equipped kitchen with all built in oven, microwave and dishwasher, large terrace, Jacuzzi, washing machine, dryer, TV, central heating, DVD and fire place for making extra romantic atmosphere.
The property offers the optimal mix between family relax and exploration of the beauty of the Vestern landscape. Located on a hill in the southwestern side of the beautiful Svinadalur. A quiet position with easy access to the center of Akranes or even only a 40 minutes if you like to explore more of Reykjavik.
Only 8 minute drive to the naturally heated swimming pool at Hladir located in the beautiful Hvalfjordur or directly translated Whale bay,
Enjoy a quality time in the Jacuzzi watching the northern lights or enjoying our midsummer nights in the quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
