Overall we really enjoyed our stay - the flat is lovely and bright, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. It is very centrally placed to see everything in Budapest. We shut the windows to reduce the nightly noise levels, and got used the 'run down' exterior, as nicer areas are so closeby. As mentioned, the lack of wifi issue was eventually sorted after 3 days, but we would have liked to know in advance about the broken kitchen tap and lack of hot water in both the bathroom and kitchen as this would have given us the option - if we wanted - to cancel our stay and find somewhere with these amenities in working order. I hope that these issues can be rectified by The hosts (who are brother&sister so do not rent properties for a living) so that future guests get the best possible impression of an apartment with great potential.

Very nice and beautiful place to stay, old things combined with creative new things. The bed was very good. The apartment is big, with a well equipped kitchen, two toilets/bathrooms. The location was perfect for us, we walked a lot. But the metro was also a few meters away. We would recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay in Balint's aparment. The air conditioning was great for hot days and the washing machine was also working well. The apartment is very nice and within walking distance to most sights. There are small grocery stores (Spar and Coop) just around the corner and a nice little pastry shop, too. The kitchen was well equipped. Families with children, be careful with the two glass-top tables in the living room. The glass is loose. Beds were very comfy and clean. There is a kind of loft bed system in one of the bedrooms, our 3yo really enjoyed sleeping in the upper bed. Be prepared to bring/buy your own paper towels and toilet paper as there was none when we arrived there. The apartment is accessible with a stroller by an elevator, but you need to carry the stroller one flight of stairs to reach the elevator. We didn't meet Balint in person, but he was very helpful and responsive by e-mails and texts. Although the apartment had minor problems, we would definitely recommend it as great value for money for it's stylish interior, good location and comfortable beds.

Really cool, quirky decor and comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Efficient air con. Helpful host who organized taxis and answered questions promptly by text. Would suit a family with kids or groups of friends. The second bedroom has a glass wall to the hall so not very private if 2 couples were sharing.Easy to walk to most landmarks and we felt safe. There s a spar just round the corner. Several restaurants just 2-3 mins away in the theatre district- cheaper restaurants a 10 min walk away in the Jewish Quarter. There's a bit of noise from a couple of local nearby pubs but nothing that really disturbed us. I would be happy to stay again.
