The space

A separate annexe in a peaceful location with easy access to the New Forest, the coast, marshes, marinas and beaches; as well as Beaulieu (National Motor Museum), Lymington and ferries to the Isle of Wight. A fully equipped kitchenette offers extra flexibility for independent living space. Delicious home cooked, locally sourced English breakfast included.
Suitable for a couple interested in birdwatching, the marshes which are 5 minutes away are home to a wide variety of permanent and migratory ducks and waders.
Also suitable for walkers and cyclists with miles of beautiful countryside to explore, with well marked cycle routes all over the New Forest. Cycle hire easily available nearby.
The annexe is a cosy garage conversion, fully insulated and heated, with the advantage of being separate from the main dwelling. Although use of a car is recommended, Lymington Station is only 2 miles away, and Brockenhurst Station 4 miles away. There are good bus routes locally, and sight seeing tours of the area in the summer.

Charlotte was a wonderful host. The breakfast was delicious and served hot on hot plates. The place was immaculate. It had everything you wanted for a wonderful stay. When we arrived there was milk, tea, coffee and biscuits waiting so we could just relax and start our holiday. Thank you Charlotte

Compact but very comfortable space. It is in the garden of a house in quiet area on the edge of the town. The breakfast was well prepared and a made with quality local ingredients. We made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Albert Cottage for 3 nights in August as we were attending a wedding in Lymington. Charlotte is a wonderful host, the cottage is wonderfully clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Can highly recommend Albert Cottage!

This Annex provided us with the perfect weekend away. It was in the perfect location for getting around the New Forest and easy to get to the shops and restaurants in lovely Lymington. The Annex itself was comfortable and had all the amenities we required during our stay. Charlotte was an amazing host and really went to a lot of trouble to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. This included homemade biscuits on arrival, delivering a full english to the annex daily (with the plates even being delivered hot and there being homemade marmalade!) to giving us an insight into the decent pubs, restaurants and places to visit nearby. We will definitely be returning next time we go back to the New Forest.

This is a beautiful place to stay Around 30 minutes walk into Lymington - which is a lovely little town with great shops (market on a Saturday) and lovely eateries and bars. We didn't have a car but very near the marshes or a range of New Forest walks - it's a beautiful area. The accommodation is in Charlotte's garden - it's so peaceful and very comfortable - warm, piping hot water in shower, lovely comfy bed We were greeted with a lemon drizzle cake and the breakfast was divine Charlotte really lovely and welcoming and we didn't want to leave. We would recommend it to any of our friends and hope to return next year.
