This was a great Affordable place for my extended family to stay. We enjoyed the rooftop views and agree with another review that the couch needs an update, but other than that we will keep this place in mind next time they come visit us!

My friends and I came out to Chicago for our friend's wedding. We were looking for a place that was relatively inexpensive. All the hotels we looked at for that weekend were $200+/night, so we turned to Airbnb for more reasonable options and found Yosef's place. Yosef is a communicative and flexible host. When we asked if we could do a late check out since our flights weren't leaving till later afternoon, he allowed it. The location is great - very close to neighborhood restaurants and bars. The houses in the surrounding area are lovely and we met many cute dogs! We took lyfts into the city, which were never more than $25 and never more than a 15 minute ride. If you are looking for a place that is inexpensive and serves your very basic needs, this place fits the bill. However, a few things to note: The place has a lot of potential, but it feels like a college student's apartment. The furniture doesn't match. The couch was broken. It was kinda dusty and probably could've used a deep clean, as other reviewers have noted. The room on the bottom floor wasn't really a bedroom - there was a washer/dryer unit in it, which was fine, but it was the air conditioning unit that was a bit of an issue since it was rather loud. Luckily, the people in our party didn't mind it too much. Like other reviewers have noted, there aren't many amenities. There are towels and toiletries other guests have left, but otherwise, incredibly sparse. This place is fine, but I would not call it nice. But again, it's cheap and it has beds and a pretty decent shower.

Like others said rooftop is definitely a big bonus! Place could be cleaned up a bit or have some updated furniture. Couch was broken and beds weren't very comfortable but we were going for affordable not fancy so this wasn't a big deal at all. There is street parking and you're in a quiet area.

My family and I stayed at Yosef's place during a quick weekend visit to my sister's new city. While we weren't quite satisfied with the cleanliness of the place nor the fact that it was MUCH less equipped than the photos made it seem, the location was very convenient to Damen and I90 (though, also *very* close to I90, so noise was an issue for some), Yosef was VERY quick with communication, check-in was super easy, off-street parking was available, and the bottle of wine waiting for us on the kitchen table was a nice, unexpected touch - even if we didn't end up drinking it.

Place has great potential but needs deep cleaned. We had issues with ants getting into our food and the couch was broke. Location was great, upper level deck was best part of house (however no furniture). Suggest bringing paper towels, toilet paper, plates/cups if you have more than a few people.

This is a roomy bnb. Very comfortable stay. Perfect location and easy to get around. We used uber a couple of times since we went to a CUBS game. The parking driveway was great since it avoided being parked on the side of the street. There's a garage as well. Our doggies did wonderful! It was just 2 of us, but dang, this place will fit 6 or more if you use the comfy couch. We would definitely love to stay again. What an opportunity.
