Experience the heart of Virginia while you stay in our cozy Forest home. Quiet and peaceful living at the end of a cul-de-sac with wooded area on one side and just minutes from fast food, great restaurants, local colleges, and sites of the area including the Blue Ridge Parkway and 45 min. to Smith Mountain Lake. Visited by families of deer and rabbits in the early morning or late evening, the area is just out of mainstream traffic for safe leisurely morning or evening walks in the neighborhood.
Access to the home is granted by a numbered keypad and we will provide a unique number code to you before your arrival.
Spacious and private area with outdoor furniture on the back deck for grilling or dining outdoors on cooler evenings.
A grill is not kept on the premises but can be provided so please make your requests for a grill a few days before check-in.
Interaction with guests
For your enjoyment during your stay and at your discretion, we can greet you or allow you privacy when your arrive for your stay. It's your choice.
If you have a question or concern while you are here, we are just a few minutes away and usually can respond in person within 5-10 minutes if your request needs our attention.
Other things to note
We have had reports that in some instances cellular phone signals on the AT&T network may have a weak signal or not able to be received at the property but can be improved by just a short walking distance up the road.
In full disclosure, there is one fixed exterior security camera at the front of the house directed towards the road exclusively used for the safety of our guests.

- Storage Sheds on the property are private - Please do not try to access or enter the storage sheds.
