Located on Westley Farm in the beautiful Cotswold hills, our Sheek Shack is nestled in its own intimate and private dell in the forest, quietly surrounded by trees, flowers, butterflies and birdsong – one can’t help but be totally captivated.

Fitted with Solar powered lights, phone and laptop charging and a woodburning stove you can be warm and feel totally at home in your snug and cosy nest in the woods.

The space

Comfortably sleeps two adults in a double bed, there is space for 2 children's floor mattresses or travel cots.

Toilets and Hygiene – each Hut has running water and a dry compost toilet close by – ‘a room with a view’. There are showers available in the Farm Courtyard by the barn.

Cooking – Each Sheek Shack has a small outside Kitchen fitted with a 2 ring gas cooker, pots, pans, and all the necessary hardware to self cater. There is a camp fire and some basic campfire cooking equipment too for more authentic flavours and fireside cooking and Barbeques.

Firewood – There is some firewood included in the booking price and if you run out we can provide well seasoned and dry firewood for a small charge if you use more than what we provide. We manage the woodlands carefully for the wildlife and don’t allow guests to cut their own from the forest. We can provide unsplit wood and a small axe if you like splitting your own logs and kindling.

We can provide 2 camping mattresses and 2 pillows for 2 kids to stay with you too but we do not provide children's bedding.

Guest access

Toilet, cleaning and cooking facilities are within a building just across the farmyard, a short walk away from where you will be staying: 1 toilet, 2 showers, kitchen and wifi.

The kitchen has a large dining table, fridge, gas cooker with 5 hobs and 2 ovens, microwave oven & toaster. There are coin-operated washing and drying machines here too.

All of these facilities are available to guests of the two Sheek Shacks on the farm

We had the perfect 4 days staying here, the shack had absolutely everything we needed and more with the most beautiful surroundings. Piers created the shacks himself and there's nothing he hasn't thought of, from the secluded location, the shack design and outdoor sheltered area, the cosy fairy lights inside, hot chocolate and log burners for a cosy evening, it's all perfect. Everything was exactly what we wanted. Great for a short walk into close by villages and pubs (highly recommend The Crown at Frampton Mansell - a 20 minute walk across the fields away).

A special and secluded retreat surrounded by nature. It has all the amenities you could need so definitely a good first experience of glamping. Rustic but comfortable.

We came here looking for a peaceful, countryside break surrounded with greenery and trees, thinking the shack looked ideal. We didn't expect to find the incredible beauty that we did on Westley Farm. The Shack was as described, simple, yet has everything you need, and with lots of little touches that make it very welcoming. The area is perfect for walking and exploring. We found a great little pub in a nearby village with brilliant views over the valley to sit in the sun with a pint of local cider. Piers was a fantastic host, offering us everything we could possibly need. If you are looking for a place to visit to connect with nature and engage in genuine conversation, in your own little corner of green heaven, then this is the place to be!
