Great communication with the hosts, the kids had a wonderful time in the bonus room, it was a little hot to enjoy the outdoors without shade (probably unusual for September). Nicely furnished and a very welcoming environment.

Thank you to Crystal and Jack for opening their home to my family and our neighbors during hurricane Irma. We evacuated the east coast and we were able to enjoy having power, hot water and hot coffee . Our first trip to Raleigh was a success. Thanks Again!

Fantastic! If you have little ones this is the place to go! My packing list was much smaller thanks to everything they already had at their house. They have all sorts of toys and games for children and adults. The furniture was clean and very comfortable. Even without their backyard renovation complete the trampoline was great to expend some energy before bedtime for my sons and the hammock a great place to relax. We had a group of 9 and this house accommodated needs of such a large group. No shortage of space, utensils (which is a struggle we often face at other locations) dishes and seating. Crystal was great at quickly responding to me beforehand with my "what do I need to bring for the children" questions; along with before checkin making it a breeze. With the possibility of a flight delay for a family member the morning we were leaving they were gracious to offer us a late checkout if needed. Will most definitely book again if we need a place for our family get together in the future.

We had a fabulous 4 nights here in July. We came with our two kids under 3 and hosted one set of grandparents. The house was ideal for us- convenient location to airport, downtown Raleigh, grocery shopping, etc. Jack and Crystal had everything we needed to keep our kids happy & comfortable and there was plenty of space for the adults as well. I cooked almost every meal at the house - the kitchen was stocked with everything you would want or need. Jack and Crystal responded immediately to any questions or needs. They also leave a very detailed description of house and amenities. Highly recommend!

Great house and place for large groups and families. We loved their home for our weekend trip to raleigh and enjoyed our interactions with the hosts. Their home is really nice and has all the features you could want and even had a ping pong table too! Great kitchen and downstairs living area with all the bedrooms upstairs. We would recommend their home!

The home was clean and spacious. AC worked great, comfortable beds, large kitchen with all the utensils we needed. Crystal responded promptly to our messages, and when 2 in our party of 6 wanted to stay on another couple of days, they offered a very reasonable rate. Great hosts, home and location! You will love this place!

Crystal And Jack User Profile

Jack is 30 years old, and originally from a Southern California town near Los Angeles, while his wife Crystal is from a town on the outskirts of Boston. We met during college in the middle of the country during the NBA championships in 2010 while the Lakers were playing the Celtics, and we decided if our relationship could withstand that, then we'd have no problem getting married!

We've been married for 6 years now, and have 2 kids. We both come from large families and have a combined total of 9 siblings, 6 in-laws, and 17 nieces and nephews (and counting!).

As our family lives all over the country, we decided to pursue a lifestyle where we could be free to travel without the restrictions of paid vacation, so with a love of real estate coursing in Jack's blood, he decided to become a realtor, and has loved both the freedom and challenge it has brought him. Crystal "retired" as a CPA this year after working in several capacities for a multinational accounting firm so that she could devote her entire attention to raising our two kids. She still picks up work here and there doing individual and small business taxes, to stay current and provide a challenge!

Together, what we enjoy most of all is playing with our kids, and going on adventures with them. Raleigh was recently ranked the number one city to raise a family and we can attest to that! We are always out and about finding new things to do. We also enjoy traveling frequently to visit our families, and get very competitive while we play board games (you're welcome to join in!).

Overall, as hosts, we are very laid back, but are open to conversations and new connections, or we can also give you some space if that's what you're looking for.
