We stayed 3 nights at Jean's place. We arrived to a beautiful and unique house overlooking the ocean. The house was prepared for us beyond our expectations and there was even a birthday bag prepared for our daughter, who celebrated her birthday while we were there. It was very easy to communicate with Jean and Lisa, who greeted us upon arrival was also helpful and friendly.

This is a very unique place. Our kids loved being on the farm with the sheep. It feels very rural but it isn't far from town for everything you need. The little extra touches offered by Jean were wonderful. These are really great hosts! We took the kayak and canoe into town for dinner (and worked off our delicious meal from the Tree House) and moored them at their private dock. All in all a great experience!

This place is an absolute gem. We celebrated my parents anniversary weekend here and it was amazing. The house is on amazing, large piece of property only 5 minute drive from Long Harbour ferry terminal. It's a beautifully decorated house with spectacular ocean views from every window. Jean greeted us on arrival and made us feel right at home. My 2 year-old niece and nephew loved the lambs that roamed on the property. There is a private beach with a canoe and kayak, which was amazing in the morning or evening when the water was calm. It's only a few minutes drive to shops and restaurants in Ganges which was very convenient. I could go on and on about this house, I am just happy I found it when it was a new listing as I'm sure it won't be easy to reserve now that the secret is out! We will be back soon!

The photos does not do enough justice on how stunning the old llama farm house is! We are a big family of 8, and stayed there for 5 days. We had enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is well equipt and we spent lots of time in the family room. It is close by the ferry terminal and central to all activities. Jean and Brian are absolutely great hosts, I loved interacting with them! We hope to be back at their lovely home :)

The old lama farm is a beautiful home on a gorgeous property with stunning ocean views. Our family had a wonderful time at the house, which was equipped with everything we needed, perfectly layed out, and such a great space to relax and take in the picturesque surroundings- the photos of the ocean view do not give it justice, it is even better in person! The hosts were fantastic to liaise with, very responsive and gracious hosts. We would highly recommend this place for your next Salt Spring Island getaway and we cannot wait to come back again!

The llama farmhouse was in the most beautiful setting and had everything we could have asked for and more. The kitchen is very well equipped making cooking fun and easy. The house itself is stunning with lots of nooks to explore and so many thoughtfully placed decorations from Jean. Cannot recommend this place enough and I hope to come back soon!

I love to surround myself with beauty and comfort. And family. My family is so important to me and my connection to them is very strong. I spent many years in Hawaii and married my soulmate on the Big Island. Consequently there are bits of Hawaii all through the house. I am generous to a fault and live my life without regrets. I'm happy to share my home with old friends and new friends.
