Close to DT, and a great, new one bedroom. However little things such as iron, coffee maker, cooking utensils are not provided.

The suite itself is fairly clean at first glance. The mirrors, windows, and appliance are all streaky, like she just used toilet paper to surface clean. She's fairly friendly in person but hard to get in touch with for questions prior, check in/out. I had to book this last minute due to work and it was all there was available, It's upsetting she charges the same as other places but provides Nothing!! No cookware or dishes. No tv. The suite is also extremely hot! Disgustingly warm all night long. Maxine you should spend like $100 at IKEA for dishes, buy a tv and maybe a small ac unit and you would have a great spot. All the best.

Maxine was a great host. Very quick to communicate and her place was very clean. Would recommend to anyone staying in North Vancouver looking to do hiking and trails as it was so close to everything!

Check-in and -out were quick and easy but Maxine was slower to respond to messages than we have previously experienced with Air bnb hosts. She also would not respond to a message on her phone even though her number was provided in our trip info. The carpets did not seem to be vacuumed well (lots of pet hair in them). The mirror, windows, cupboards and appliances all looked like they had been wiped with a dirty cloth. I would suggest investing in some windex. The listing made it sound like there was private parking for the unit but there was only street parking and it was very busy and had time restrictions throughout the day. The listing also mentioned the high end kitchen appliances which makes it sound like the kitchen is usable but there was literally nothing to cook with. We had to spend nearly $100 getting a fan and some essentials to cook and clean with, which should not need to be done when you paid over $1400 to stay in a place for 11 nights. There were no reviews when we booked our stay and when we began to see the reviews we messaged Maxine about a week before our stay to ask if she was able to provide a few essentials in the kitchen for us to use. She said no cooking devices are provided and directed us to purchase disposable oven tins from Save-on-Foods. We were not impressed with this. It seems to us that even Air bnb assumes that if you have a kitchen in your unit then you also have the ability to cook and clean as they only have Kitchen as an amenity option and do not have Pots and Pans or Cooking Utensils as possible amenities. This was a very noisy location. There is a fire station around the corner and they drive right past the unit for every call. There seemed to be a lot of road construction somewhere near by and also seemed to be some work going on in the unit above that made for a lot of noise. The traffic was also very loud and made it impossible to get a good night sleep and the windows had to be open all night because it was ridiculously hot in the unit. Between the noise, the heat and the useless kitchen I have to say that this place it not a good value at $120 a night. We were staying 200 metres west on the same road for the same price in a place that was much larger, with two large bedrooms and a bigger kitchen and living space. It included all the essentials for cooking and cleaning and had a fenced yard with a lovely patio area. It even came with full cable and private parking and although it was still very close to the fire station it was much quieter and we were never woken up from traffic noise. Unfortunately it wasn't available for our entire...

Maxine's place is lovely, in a safe, convenient area. It was like walking into a staged, model apartment. However, we were disappointed to find the lovely kitchen had no cooking equipment or utensils of ANY KIND except a couple of glasses, 2 coffee cups and coffee maker, and several plates. We planned on cooking our meals, but found ourselves eating out. Also, bring your own hair dryer. A few essentials would have made our stay more enjoyable. The bed is super comfy and Maxine responded quickly to texts and met us upon arrival. Good price for a nice location.

This place is nothing close to comfortable. If you are looking to stay somewhere for a night go for it, other than that it's a waste of money. This place comes with no TV, no A/C, no fan, no iron, no hair dryer, no pots/pans, empty cupboards, almost nothing in the kitchen (except for a couple of plates and forks) We booked this place for a week to be able to do the cooking and save money on food but wasn't able to do it at all, totally regret booking it. The host, Maxine, is not friendly at all either. Whenever i sent her a message or call her she wouldn't reply until after a few hours later and for that also she was rude and not helpful at all. She also mentioned why i would sent her a message on her cellphone, whereas her cellphone number was provided in the airbnb reminder email i got. Maxine only mentioned that there are no pots in the kitchen when we were checking in, she could have mentioned this before our arrival, so we could have planned our food in some other way. I asked her to provide us with some amenities for the place like a fan (because it was so hot) or a TV and she rudely declined and said she can give me some directions to go and buy those!
