Where you’ll be

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Kitsilano, especially "North of 4th" Avenue, is considered
one of the most desirable locations in the City of Vancouver (if not Canada) to live, with its numerous beaches, parks, recreation centres, retail amenities, movie theatre (5th & Burrard), bus transportation, cafes, restaurants and its close proximity to city hospitals, Downtown Vancouver and UBC.
Kitsilano’s location displays the best of British Columbia's beauty with a vast array of waterfront development including parks. Vanier Park is the largest park in Kitsilano and is situated along English Bay under the Burrard Bridge accessible at Chestnut Street and Whyte Avenue. At Vanier park enjoy the wraparound views of water mountains, and city. The Vancouver Museum, Maritime Museum and H.R. MacMillan Space Centre are located at Vanier Park, adding to Kitsilano’s historical culture. Walking along Vanier Park will connect to Kitsilano Beach Park which is rated as one of the “Top 10 Sexiest Beaches in North America” by Forbes Traveler magazine (Dyck). Kitsilano Beach Park’s features an olympic size outdoor pool, tennis court and basketball court, and in 2010 Vancouver’s largest and most accessible playground was built at the park as a legacy of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

I love living near to the beach. When the tide is out, like to take off my shoes and walk on the sandbars. I walk everywhere: Kits Point, Downtown, False Creek, Granville Island, and also fun to take the ferry and walk around Stanley Park
