We had a wonderful stay. The flat is spacious with high ceilings and is in a fantastic location. A postbox and the stop for the frequent #3 buses to the city centre are directly opposite the flat, and being on the ground floor one can see the bus arriving, with plenty of time to walk across the street to catch it. The many restaurants on Sharrow Vale Road, Eccleshall Road and Abbeydale Road are only 10 minutes walk away as are bus stops for the Peak District. The Union pub with tasty food is only a few yards along Union Road from the flat and a Sainsbury Local store and a variety of shops, cafés, etc, are within 3-5 minutes walk. John and Sue were delightful and most helpful and even gave us a lift to Sheffield Railway Station when we left for London. We look forward seeing them again.

Absolutely great apartment, everything you needed was available. Welcome gift a great welcome, especially the wine. Hosts couldn’t have done more for us, especially due the circumstances for our stay.

We're just back from a long weekend at John and Sue's place, they were great hosts, lots of communication and in hand to answer any questions. The apartment is just as described and was perfect and roomy for our family of 4. The area is very quiet and leafy with everything you need a short walk away. We'd definitely stay again

This is a really lovely and comfortable flat, John and Sue have thought about what you might need during your stay. The flat was immaculately clean, with plenty of facilities. The showers were powerful and the bathrooms had plenty of fluffy towels. Both beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen and lounge areas were very well-equipped and comfortable, with a lovely big sofa. The fish tank was a lovely relaxing bonus! The flat is in a quiet and leafy suburb of Sheffield, very nice and quiet at night, but close to city amenities - we found some lovely restaurants a 15 minute walk away. Very highly recommended - will definitely return if in the area.
