Truly a glamping hut with 2 comfy king beds (sheets & duvet not provided), en suite shower & loo, set in a private secluded spot on a small, quiet 36 acre farm with fishing lake & boat in a remote, beautiful, little visited, yet very accessible area of the Pennines with expansive views of the beautiful Thursden Valley. An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle, lime hushings & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway.
Sorry no dogs.

The space
This tiny house has a welsh slate roof, is insulated with wool inside the larch cladding, an oak floor, doors and stairway to the mezzanine floor with king size bed, a large king size pull out bed below, en suite shower (nothing quite like a hot shower when you come off the hill), basin and loo, kitchen area with cooker, fridge and sink, woodburner, and seating area inside and out. This is the only hut in the field, totally isolated. Unfortunately no dogs as sadly furnishings previously wrecked. There is a firepit, bbq( bring charcoal) & you have free run of the all grass 36 acre farm with cattle suckler herd, breeding flock of sheep, goats, horses, farm ducks & fish pond (large carp & rainbow trout, & boat( at your own risk, beware overhead power cables!!!) buoyancy aids can be provided. There are several footpaths that lead from the farm boundary to amazingly beautiful scenic walks, some quite strenuous, others easy inclined & little used, through the 200 year old woodland and along the Thursden valley. The whole area has an extensive network of footpaths, bridleways & cycle routes, ideal for mountain bikers & walkers alike, right from your door with the Pennine bridleway 300 metres away & the Pennine way a mile or so. Be sure to investigate the area towards Hebden Bridge, turn right out of the gate....amazing scenery !!!Secure bike storage is available here.

Guest access
Miles and miles of footpaths and bridleways await you with open access to 36 acres of open grass farmland & lake.
IMPORTANT !!! Please take special notice of the check-in instructions & photos that you will have access to on booking. There are photos to guide you on your Stephen Hey adventure. It will make life easy for all of us & give you a stress free experience...always good.
***Please note... if you are under 25 & have trouble booking.... Airbnb recently implemented new rules that prevent users under 25 from renting listing that is categorized as entire place to help crack down on party houses. Younger guests would need to have at least 3 reviews to book entire place.

Other things to note
This experience is ideal for those wanting to get away to a beautiful, private, quiet, secluded spot. Great for cyclists, walkers, mountain bikers. We also cater for horse B&B ( contact me for details) so you can bring your horse or pony and ride the extensive bridleway network, perfect for horses and bikes with no roads to cross for miles.
PLEASE NOTE; if you are arriving on foot, bike, horse or train/taxi, so unable to bring your own, bedding can be supplied @ £10 for the duration of your stay.
