Wake up to wonderful views, enjoy coffee on the balconies, and then walk right out to Perdido Bay! This 2 bed/2.5 bath, with a fully stocked kitchen, in-house laundry, and 2 paddle boards, sits on a calm, private cove of Perdido Bay. Its still, shallow waters provide a perfect place to play safely. It includes a community pool, a private beach, and is a few minutes drive from the Perdido Key beaches and dining. Take the family or some friends to enjoy our relaxing retreat.

The space

Two story elevated townhouse. The lower level is the carport, which includes an area for parking or relaxing in the shade. You will enter the front door at this level and then take a flight of stairs to the first floor. There you will find the living room, dining room, balcony, kitchen, laundry, and half bath. Another flight of stairs will take you to the two bedrooms on the second floor, one of which includes its own private balcony.

Guest access

Private Beach, community pool, two paddle boards, club house with Cardio equipment.
Wifi is available in the club house.

Interaction with guests

We live across town, but are available if needed.

Other things to note

There is NOT wifi or cable in the unit. There is a wide variety of DVDs to chose from with DVD players in the Living Room and the Master Bedroom. As stated before, wifi is available in the club house, where there are tables and chairs to work at, and by the pool. So if you unfortunately have to work, this space is available.

We chose to do this to allow our guests to disconnect and enjoy a relaxing vacation. After a long day at the beach, you can enjoy a movie with the family before heading to bed in time to catch the sunrise!

The house was clean and the bay was beautiful. The paddle boarding was a blast! We met a few minor hiccups but the host was quick to assist in any issues! Overall a great trip.

Great place for a family looking for quite scenic area. Has a small shallow lake out back. Gulf shores and Pensacola about 30 minutes away. Persist beach very nice but if you looking for a little more activity go to orange beach. Thanks John and Jennifer

We stayed June 2017. Family of six with 3 older children and an infant. Overall our stay was excellent. We made great use of the paddle boards and being on the bay. We fished, swam, played in water, hunted for hermit crabs, and paddle boarded daily. There were dolphins out front every day eating the mullet. It was not very busy and we felt it was secluded and private. We did bring our own tackle and fishing poles. The location felt centralized but various activities were a bit of a drive. Not bad though I'd say 45 mins or less. We enjoyed Pensacola, Orange Beach, the various state parks and even made it over to Destin. If you are looking for crystal clear beaches we'd recommend Pensacola or Destin. Couple of tips ... bring baking sheet and pan to us oven. None were provided. Bring paper plates and cups of you are a family larger than 4. If you like to fish bring your own tackle and poles. There is some available and a bait shop up the road.
