Renovated 5th floor apartment, 30 sq. meters surface, 25 sq. meters covered terrace, with a view to the National Observatory of Athens.
Ideal for couples, sunny, quiet, artistic flair.
Also ideal for professionals that prefer a homey atmosphere after work, the space is equipped with fast wifi and smart TV.
Around the corner a group of traditional taverns, bars, art cinemas, pinpoint the way to Thiseio.
Petralona station 5 minutes by foot, Thiseio station 15 minutes by foot.
The apartment is trully multifunctional and i tried to keep a lot of its original elements intact, for instance the mosaic floors, and an old middle door which i turned into a dinning table, or the old drawers on wheels under the bed stool.
The painting with the golden frame was found covered in mudd, next to a trash bin under the house, ultimately it was restored back to its original bourgeois glory.
True inspiration came from the neighberhood itself and the lovely vintage taverns and coffee shops, that appear like mushrooms.
I hope my guests will realise there is a cohesiveness between the apartment and the old streets of Dimofontos and Troon.
At the end of the day, the goal remains the same, and that is providing a high level of hospitality.
P.S.1 I kindly inform all of our guests that i appreciate to have instant communication via phone, message, airbnb profile or phone app, also be precise regarding your arrival, delay, cancelation.
Since you re in a foreign country purchase a local number or top up your data,it feels so akward when i receive calls from nearby stores or taverns.
Please respect apartment rules and keep in mind that although you perhaps never visit again , someone else is visiting right after you.
P.S.2 The washing machine is free to use from guests staying 3+ nights.
For guests using the apartment as a station between trips ( 2-3 days ) its suggested to use the nearest laundry store.
From Athens Airport you take the Blue Metro Line, you stop at Monastiraki, you jump in the Green Subway Line (direction towards Peiraius), you get off at Petralona.
You walk exactly 5 minutes towards Ano Petralona and you reach the apartment.
At the entrance of Petralona station there is trolley bus No 15 which takes you to Acropolis Museum, Zappeio, Sintagma etc.
I can help you with taxi arrangement, ticket prices, strikes, all sorts of info, in order to make everything easy.
