I’m not even sure where to begin… I just can’t say enough about Kevin and his wonderful place! Both are lovely and truly embody the original spirit of AirBnB. Kevin is the consummate host. It’s clear he has put a good deal of thought, care, and love into this place. It is well-maintained and designed (as a contractor, Kevin is always at the ready to do his own repairs!), he personally cleans and stocks it in between visitors, and he lives in the neighborhood and makes sure he’s always reachable in case you need anything. His wife does the decorating, & her thoughtfulness is evident throughout in the small touches that make a house feel like a home… from the basil planted on the front porch to the key hooks by the front door, from the laundry basket to the well-appointed and decorated kitchen. The unit itself is roomy and homey, with a cozy living room complete with stained-glass window, comfy new bed, French doors, great bathroom with real porcelain tub, roomy kitchen, closets, pantry, and back porch. I stumbled on this AirBnB in the middle of a particularly difficult time, when I was unexpectedly left stranded after a toxin issue made it impossible to return to my own home, and was feeling very unwell. I felt so comfortable here, I walked around barefoot & actually got excited to “come home” every night – neither of which I’ve ever done at an AirBnB! It really did feel like home. And then Kevin went above and beyond, offering to help in ways he didn’t have to, such as giving me a place to store my stuff when my otherwise long-term stay got interrupted for a couple of days. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Kevin and this or any of his other AirBnB’s without hesitation. (Note to light sleepers: This particular unit might have a little more noise than others due to a combination of creaky old-fashioned floorboards and a tenant upstairs who gets up extremely early in the morning. No fault of the host’s, though Kevin does own the whole building, and I have no doubt he would be willing to work with you should any issues come up!).

This was our first stay at an airbnb and our stay was better than we could've imagined. It was a great experience! The accommodations were impeccably clean and spacious. Kevin and Laura were great hosts, made sure we got in without any difficulties (our flight was delayed and we arrived later in the evening than we had anticipated), and checked in on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend!
