The Hawk Hollow Hobbit Houses are two unique, unfurnished tiny homes available for campers. The Hobbit Houses are located in a woodland forest on a small private park that was once an overgrown neighborhood lot. The nearby communities of Kirkwood and Oakhurst offer family friendly neighborhood restaurants, bars and coffeehouses. There is a porta-potty, a spigot for water, and an electrical box on the property.

Great first time camping experience for our family. Don't forget a starter log! Both hobbit houses were just enough to sleep our family of 5. Great spot for a fun evening of camping.

In town camp out at it's finest. About as low impact way to get away from it all as one can imagine.

I really enjoyed my stay. The Hobbit House provides a lovely, unique retreat in a residential neighborhood. The host was inviting and prompt with communication. My only criticism is the site is not as private and secluded as I imagined it would be; a lot of families in addition t…

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about the noise. I talked with a neighbor who said a neighbor near Hawk Hollow was having a loud party that night which is unusual. Also, I will change the placement and verbiage of the sign so that people don't go beyond the bridge. Thanks for letting me know.

This was such a unique and cool experience! The evening around the fire pit was very relaxing, and our son loved playing at Hawk Hollow before bed. The Hobbit Houses are very cool!
