Pros: Good location, walkable, close to central areas on campus and restaurants. Had the entire apartment to myself. The bedroom and living room were spacious. Air conditioned, inexpensive.
Cons: The apartment was very dirty when I arrived, especially the bathroom. The toilet was filthy (solid filth along the back of the toilet bowl and a dirty shower with hair and mildew). The microwave was filthy, and the few dishes available were also dirty (ex. food rings in the bowls). When I pulled the bed out from the wall to put on sheets, there were socks, tissues, and a shriveled mandarin beneath the bed. It was so bad that I considered canceling my reservation. Instead, I bought cleaning supplies and scrubbed the bathroom. I messaged the host and she agreed to reimburse me for the cleaning supplies.
This is very bare bones lodging with two twin mattresses, a bathroom, a living room with two couches, and a kitchen. The hosts seem to be undergrads who are looking for an easy way to sublet the apartment for the summer (i.e. not committed AirBnB hosts looking to build a loyal customer base). Many cabinets in the kitchen are taped off, so it's best not to plan to cook as there are not really cooking supplies. Note that guest needs to bring bedding and towels.
Overall, it was fine for cheap lodging.
