Experience The Tiny Home movement!

Perched to capture the extraordinary ocean view, our tiny home is comfortable, and private. Enjoy the view from your loft bed or relax on your deck and watch & listen as nature unfolds. It is not unusual to hear and see whales blowing, sea lions barking and bald eagles chattering. Walk to the beach, petroglyphs, local artisans, and winery. The Tiny Home is built with non-toxic materials

Please note: we live on the same property and are an approved rental.

The space
Our Tiny Home by the Sea...
- is the perfect space for a couple or one person
- is uniquely built with non toxic materials
- is bright with lots of natural light and windows to capture the ocean and forest view
- has a toxin free maple and natural latex sofa
- has a heat-pump for heating and air-conditioning
- is a whopping 160 square feet
-has a tiny hot water tank (but refills/heats quickly)…we advise spacing out dishes and showers..

* steep and awkward stairs, you must be agile!

Bathroom:
- shower, sink, flush toilet, and tile floor (the washroom is a tight fit)

Deck:
- private with an ocean view (bistro table for two)

Kitchen:
- apartment sized oven/stove & mini fridge and ocean view window
- well equipped - french press, toaster, kettle, pots/pans .... (no microwave)
- staples like coffee, oil, salt/pepper, sugar, spices

Loft Bed:
- ocean view window
- memory foam mattress topper
- cotton sheets and down duvet & pillows
- access to the loft bed requires climbing 3 steps and a 4 foot ladder with no handles or rails.

Guest access
Parking: directly in front of Tiny Home
Public beach access: a 2 min walk away but NOT accessible directly below the Tiny Home.
Exterior: The Tiny Home has its own ocean view deck and front yard.

Other things to note
Due to this being a Tiny Home you need to be nimble! There are steep and awkward stairs and heights with no rails.

The loft bed has a double mattress with low head clearance and a steep ladder with no rails or handles. Space around the toilet and sink is also very tight. The shower is surprisingly spacious!

We have wonderful neighbours but please do not walk in their yards.

Due to this being a tiny home it has a tiny hot water tank (40 liters, 12 gallons). In the unlikely event you run out of hot water it will replenish quickly.

Neighbourhood highlights

We love looking at the ocean and being able to see and hear the marine life....exploring the petroglyphs, walking the Kay Dubois Trail or going for a wine tasting/snack a 5-minute walk up the road. Morning and evening strolls either along the beach or in the pastoral neighborhood are daily activities for us. Our neighborhood has sheep, bee boxes, and exotic pets.

Quadra Island is home to a lively, close-knit community from all walks of life and all parts of the world. The area is blessed with stunning natural beauty, beaches, parks, wildlife and endless adventure-recreation opportunities. The island is full of farm stands, artisan galleries and studios. Enjoy live music or one of the several concerts throughout the year.
