Hedenstad Gård is a 600-year-old family farm in an idyllic valley in rural north-west Norway. The property contains a detached newly renovated guest house with space for four people. The farm property contains outstanding hiking opportunities with breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains and fjords, there are also fishing opportunities.

If you are doing a driving or biking trip this guesthouse is the ideal pit stop or base for exploring the beautiful north-west coast of Norway.

The space
The guesthouse
The guesthouse is charming and newly renovated (2015) and built in the old Norwegian building fashion. It is integrated in the farm property close to the main building, a farm house and a garage. The property also contains a traditional old Norwegian cottage. The guesthouse is 70m2 with a bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and a loft with a double-bed. The couch is a comfortable sleeping couch with room for two people. A cot is also available for small children.
There is a big terrace with a sliding door and all amenities in the house is new.

Guest access
The farm is situated a 20 kilometres outside Molde and is conveniently located in-between the big tourist attractions of Geiranger and the Atlantic Road. Other notable hidden gems within short driving distance is Bud and Bjørnsund (traditional fishing villages), Farstadstranda (one of the few sandy beaches on this coastline), Håholmen (viking settlement) to name a few. We are happy to give you advice on these relatively unknown but incredible places.

We own a boat close to the property and for a small fee and dependent on availability, we are happy to take you fishing and exploring the surrounding fjords. The lake across from the farm also has great freshwater fishing opportunities and a small rowing boat which you are welcome to borrow.

NB! Stedet ligger 20 km vest for MOLDE.
