This light-filled townhouse is Built Green -- and houses a small communications agency when it's not being rented. It lies in the heart of West Seattle's commercial district. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops and retail -- or take a Lyft or water taxi to get to nearby downtown Seattle.
Since this is an office as well as a rental, there are two sofa beds. One is a long full and the other a double, with all bedding provided. It's a tall and skinny building so there are three flights of stairs to access all the areas of the townhouse. But the view is great of the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound from the roof on a clear day.
There is one security camera at the door entrance that will only track movement during off hours and should be left alone.
If you have work to do, there's a great desk space & Internet.
We ask that guests bring their own food and not eat the food and snacks that are already here. However there are a number of spices and cooking essentials in the kitchen and a BBQ on the roof. And three grocery stores are within walking distance -- PCC, Safeway, and the gourmet-leaning Metropolitan Market.
Interaction with guests
We likely won't be around much -- unless you need us. The access to the townhouse is by key code which will be provided shortly before check-in. (We change the code between guests.)
On weekdays I could be working in the retail space at street level.
Other things to note
Because you are in easily walkable location you don't need a car & there's a bus stop within 100 feet. However there is also good street parking nearby, too -- usually right next to the place.
- Please slip off your shoes at the entrance landing
- Please don't eat snacks, etc. already in the offices
- The espresso machine is little complicated -- read the instructions
- The offices are not terribly kid-proof, so watching your children will be a must
- Things need to quiet down by around 8pm
The AirBNB is my business, Guenther Group. The art you'll see on our walls is mostly created from past client projects in different parts of the globe. I live a few miles away, have two young children and a pretty active lifestyle. Sometimes during the day I may be working in the retail space on street level. The AirBNB space is accessed from the backdoor using a key code.
